Martin is an excellent teacher with clear communication skills and is outstanding at keeping nervous drivers calm when a situation occurs which causes them to feel under pressure. He is very patient and always highlights areas which need improving and how to do so. I hadn’t drove for 18 years due to feeling unconfident on the roads but after around 5 refresher lessons I am now able to drive without becoming very nervous as Martin spoke me through different scenarios and how to deal with them when they arose but also how to keep emotions down so that the driving isn’t affected. Martin is a very knowledgable, patient and skilled driving instructor. His teaching enabled me to pass my test with only one minor. Martin is highly professional, but also very friendly, and put me at ease from my first lesson with him. He was very flexible with the times of my lessons, and always responded quickly to any queries that I had. I particularly found his use of diagrams, maps and pictures of key roads and junctions in the Kettering area to be really useful, both for the test and for finding my way around an area that I have only lived in for a short time.
