Great driving experience with my driver phill. I felt I was given thorough 1 to 1 learning and he does his utmost to achieve the best from his students. His banter also doesn’t go unnoticed, thank you for the teaching, excellent example of west’s driving school.

I passed my practical test yesterday. Took lessons from Kathy Windett and I can't thank her enough for being there and helping me in building confidence on the road. In short, you want to pass driving test, take lessons from Kathy, listen to her, do as she says and there you go! While I was driving during my test I could literally hear her sweet voice saying "mirror signal" I can't really thank her enough for putting up with all of my nonesenses during lessons. God Bless her.

A massive thank you to Phil from West's School of Motoring!!
Not only an amazing teacher, but a good person with a great character. Always easy going and relaxed even though maintaining a professional attitude and setting high standards at all times.
Having had a few lessons with a different school I never had confidence in myself and always felt nervous behind the wheel. It only took a few lessons with Phil for all the nervousness and worry to disappear. Always making me feel relaxed and composed while making me strive to be a better driver with each lesson.
I passed my Test in Goodmayes with 1 minor, even though I feel like I could have done the test in any other centre because of how well prepared he made me for the test. Going through different areas and routes and preparing me for any eventuality with the utmost patience every time.
I 100% recommend Phil to anyone looking not only for a dedicated and professional instructor, but a genuine and friendly person.

I want to say a massive thank you to Spencer for all his help in not only getting me to pass my test but also in building my confidence on the roads and in my abilities as a driver!
Spencer was a great teacher and always made me feel at ease. He was very patient with me and never made me feel uncomfortable when I made mistakes. This I found really helpful whenever I got nervous, as his calm attitude took that pressure away. He always made me feel safe and secure on the drive, and had a meticulous attention to detail to get my standard of driving not only to a good standard, but an exceptional one! He kept his confidence in me at times when I thought passing my test was something beyond my abilities, so I can’t thank him enough! He’s also very easy to get along with so lessons were always something to look forward to.
I would recommend Wests to anyone thinking of learning to drive!

Phil has been a great instructor, you can tell he genuinely cares about what he does and about the students he takes on. I passed the test first time under his instruction with only 4 minors (having failed the test twice before with a different driving school) because he recognised I needed extra attention and emphasis on the specific things that were holding me back. This shows a real skill for identifying and addressing each student's skill and needs on an individual lesson and that's what I really needed & I couldn't be more thankful. Thank you Phil!

Phil is an excellent instructor with a lot of patience, who I would highly recommend to anyone as he made my driving experience fun and enjoyable. I would like to say a massive thank you to Phil for all his hard work in helping me pass my test first time, and with only three minors! Phil never gave up on me, he was always supportive and has made me a safe and confident driver. Thanks again Phil!

Phil is a great driving instructor who is very dedicated to getting the best out of his students. As a very nervous learner I found his encouragement, enthusiasm and drive to ensure I passed my test first time really motivating. Thanks to his hard work I now feel confident on the road. Phil is an awesome driving instructor who helped me pass my driving test first time. He's very professional, knowledgeable and will work really hard with you to get you driving independently. He's motivating and has a great sense of humour and I'd recommend him to anyone regardless of their driving experience.

Laura In Romford - I would like to say a BIG thank you to my driving instructor Phil West of Wests School of motoring for getting me through my driving test with only 2 minors. Phil has great knowledge and experience in driving in the local area and test routes which helped me prepare for the test. The lesson prices are a value for money and he fitted lessons around my work schedule. I would highly recommend him, his humour and patience helped me to stay calm and drive confidently and safely. He’s not only a great driving instructor but a great guy who is dedicated to getting you to reach your full potential. He teaches you to drive to a high standard, a skill I will keep for life, I have already booked my Pass Plus course with Phil and am looking forward to it.

I passed my practical test yesterday. Took lessons from Kathy Windett and I can't thank her enough for being there and helping me in building confidence on the road. A massive thank you to Phil from West's School of Motoring!!
Not only an amazing teacher, but a good person with a great character. Always easy going and relaxed even though maintaining a professional attitude and setting high standards at all times.
Having had a few lessons with a different school I never had confidence in myself and always felt nervous behind the wheel. It only took a few lessons with Phil for all the nervousness and worry to disappear. Always making me feel relaxed and composed while making me strive to be a better driver with each lesson.

Spencer was a great teacher and always made me feel at ease. He was very patient with me and never made me feel uncomfortable when I made mistakes. Phil has been a great instructor, you can tell he genuinely cares about what he does and about the students he takes on.
