I had Jana as an instructor and recently I passed my driving test. She is an amazing instructor and was always very patient. She taught me well and quick and never cancelled a lesson. I regret every second I spent with this company, first instructor I had, Danielle, she would arrive at least 15-25 minutes late, EVERY lesson, added up to about 2 hours wasted in the end, she would tell me I needed a 20 minute break by law & went shopping whilst I waited in her car for her as she didn't want to pay the £1 car park fee!! she made me travel to meet her, she would endorse drug use, took personal phone calls every lesson, made me write down notes from her calls!! I got fed up after around 6 hours & complained about her & was told I would have another instructor "who id really like" so I gave them a second chance, worst mistake ever!! Joy (owns the company) met me & immediately questioned me about Danielle & telling me what a good instructor she was, called me a drama queen when I told her what I was worried about on the road, she got moody if I didn't do exactly what she said, even though she would frequently spring it on me where to go! If I got anything wrong she would be moody with me, she would constantly have other pupils in the car, take personal calls, she herself even told me Danielle had lots of complaints against her for the same reasons I complained!! She upped my lesson from 2 hours to 3 hours, frequently cancelled my lessons, dropped me home early as she had to be elsewhere, I got very bored with her, she's like a strict headteacher & if you don't do exactly what she says then you're in trouble!! 45 years experience & still blamed me for being a "slow learner"!! Tried to tell me they weren't agoing to refund me, then wanted to charge me at 30 hour rate even though I paid for the 40 hour rate!! she wouldn't answer my calls when I was trying to get my money back, left me a 5 minute long moany voicemail, telling me now that I'm the problem and where I live is a problem!! Omg I don't know how they've kept things going with such poor instructors & attitude! Got a new instructor with aa, he's a way better instructor than both Joy and Danielle, he's actually patient & doesn't get cranky if i get something wrong, I'm actually learning how to drive, instead of spending most of my lesson running another pupil home! I started a 2 week intensive course after my 17th birthday. The intensive course was the best thing I could've done. Joy was recommended to me by my dad as she also taught him. Joy was incredibly calm and gave me the confidence I needed to combat everything on the road. I would definitely recommend Joy as I was particularly nervous at the beginning of the course but she quickly made me feel very at ease with her "there's nothing you can't do attitude". I have another friend learning with another driving instructor at Kim's and he is also getting on very well. Would definitely recommend to all. Read Less

I am happy to say that I passed today and I could never have done it without Danielle. Danielle is absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend her enough. I enjoyed every lesson. Her calm and reassuring nature makes it easy to build up your confidence on the road. She found different ways to explain things, and always had an alternative idea if something wasn't going quite as well as hoped. Danielle provides fantastic learning environment and goes above and beyond to ensure that her students are well prepared for the test. She truly is a great asset to Kims Driving School. I really appreciate our 6am starts on almost every lesson which meant I could fit my driving lesson just before work. And we had a laugh at the same time! Read Less
