5 stars without question. I've had my licence for years, but whilst going through a very stressful time I suffered a panic attack while driving on the freeway one day. This put me off getting behind the wheel for a number of years. Decided I needed to do something about it and after finding safe2go one day whilst researching what I could do about my situation I contacted Henry. One of the best decisions I have ever made. We arranged some lessons and within weeks I found my confidence returning. Henry is an amazing guide, patient and calm but above all else he is realistic about where your ability lies and what you need to focus on. He is also good at reinforcing road rules and giving you techniques to cope with stressful situations. Take note, Henry is not a psychologist which he makes very clear; if you are suffering with extreme anxiety then the lessons will probably help along side another form of therapy, but if you're lacking a bit of confidence and get a bit anxious about driving then these lessons are perfect. After many years trying and putting off getting my licences I found Safe2go and decided to give them a try. After the first lesson with Henry I knew this was the instructor who would get me over my anxiety and fear of driving. From the get go I was comfortable and the way Henry teaches is not about passing the test but getting you to be the best and safest driver you can be. Each lesson I learned so much and at the end when it all came together it was such a great feeling. I learned so much more than just simply road rules, I am now a very confident driver and can't wait to get on the road. As an older person learning to drive for the first time, Henry was the perfect teacher. Patient and calm, with an emphasis on awareness and being safe in any driving situation, he helped me pass my test first time. Now I’m driving I’m still hearing his instructions when different driving situations occur so he’s given me the tools to handle any situation by making rational decisions, thinking ahead and having back up plans as situations change. Even though I have had my drivers license for a long time, I have struggled with fear of driving for years and for 10 years barely ever got behind the wheel. I would highly recommend Henry to anyone looking to gain confidence on the road. His guidance and clear instructions really helped me and I got my license first go. I have two classes with Henry and I have to say they were outstanding. Henry showed me carefully all traffic rules and pointed me out my mistakes to be avoided on the test. Henry is simply the best. Being a new learner and unfamiliar with Sydney roads, Henry taught me skills that I will take away with me for life. Henry was absolutely great, he went through the code rules, he gave me a few tips and after 2 different sessions with him I felt the same confidence as when I use to drive in Europe. I had a two-hour lesson today with Henry, and it was fantastic. I have previously driven only in North America, and though I've been in Sydney for years, I've always been scared about driving on the left side. Henry made it so much easier than I could have imagined. He's extremely calm and confident - exactly the sort of person you want in the passenger seat when you're learning. He was eager to help with the specific issues I wanted to address, and he also quickly identified a number of ways I could improve my driving that I hadn't been aware of. His instructions and tips are clear and easy to remember, and his confidence is somehow infectious. The experience really allowed me to overcome the anxiety I've had for so long about driving here. If you're wondering if it's worth the money, I'd say definitely -- being a good driver is so important, and investing a bit of money for a few good lessons could save your life. Probably a good move even for experienced drivers who just want some expert suggestions and evaluation. I've already signed up to learn how to drive a manual with Henry, and looking forward to it!
