I had been learning on and off for 11 years but never really stuck with it. After a 3 year break from my last drive, I had a lesson with Belgica. It was so scary getting behind the wheel of a stranger's car and I honestly didn't know if driving was for me! But Belgica - and the lovely Marc for a couple of lessons - were able to pinpoint my weaknesses and so we started to learn from scratch. Belgica taught me the best techniques in such great detail. I felt comfortable asking questions and her attention to detail is incredible. There were laughs, tears, shouting, chatting and times where I honestly felt like giving up but I knew if I just trusted the process and kept showing up to the lessons that I might just get there. And I did get there - last week I passed my test in Chatswood on my first attempt, with a score of 106! The test was a very positive experience. I still am pinching myself over this as it has been such a long journey for me, but in just a few months Belgica completely transformed my driving skills. Belgica teaches long term skills, not just a fast-track to pass the test. She genuinely has her students' best interests at heart and will get the best out of you if you let her. She won't let you do the test unless she believes that you are ready and able to pass. She never pushed any extra lessons or hours on me, it was always my choice to dictate our lesson schedule. Thank you Belgica for teaching me to be a safe driver and encouraging me to finally finish this part of the driving journey! Belgica is the reason why I have a driver’s license. I have been postponed my license for many years and I can say that learning how to drive when you are older it is not easy. However, Belgica made this possible! She is an extraordinary instructor, extremely patient and very experienced. She gave me confidence over the lessons and taught me how to drive safely.
