Both my older sister and I were lucky enough to have Mr. Green as a driving teacher. Not only did he care about our driving education, but he cared about us as individuals. He always kept a calm attitude in driving situations, to create a stress free and safe learning environment for the students. Thanks so much! -Mary

Sears teaches defensive driving techniques, so I actually feel like I learned some valuable skills and made some use of the time I had to spend in the classroom. The videos shown during class make it a little more engaging, and Mr. Green's has a lot of good stories to pass the time. Mr. Green himself is very friendly, knowledgable about driving, and experienced at teaching students.
One thing that could've been better is if there were more open slots to schedule drives in. I did not expect that I would have to wait a couple weeks to sign-up for a slot not during the school day. I heard this was due to an extra high amount of students and not usually the case, but that was my personal experience.
Overall I'm glad I signed up though.

Excellent instruction! I really appreciated the ability to customize the experience to what I needed. The tips on parallel parking were especially helpful. I'm grateful to Jim Green for his patience and for helping me regain my confidence on the road.

Have to take the knowledge test to get my license since I'm from out of state. The test admin never showed. I stood outside for an hour and no one showed. Needless to say I'm pretty upset.

I didn't learn much in the classroom sessions, the teacher rambled on with personal stories all the time. Drives were ok, but not great. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come to this driving school. And...
I didn't learn much in the classroom sessions, the teacher rambled on with personal stories all the time. Drives were ok, but not great. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come to this driving school. And by the way, it's more expensive than most driving schools too.

I took the basic course for teenagers, and Mr. Green's ability to help me navigate the system and rules made it possible for me to get my license in my time frame. No surprises, no hassle, a class scheduled for a time that worked, and the practice car was a hybrid. Good for me, good for others on the road, and, for bonus points, good for the environment too!
