All the teachers are excop with amazing and heart breaking experience. Yes it's a good chunk of money; it's worth it. You learn defensive driving, all the rules and then some, drives with teachers, in class learning, skills and knowledge test all in one location. Your child or yourself will really benifit from their course material. It is worth it to keep and teach your child and yourself the safest way to travel the road. Read Less

I found the staff friendly and always helpful. My son is a great driver and knows the rules better after taking the class then if he just read the book. I think all first time drivers should be required to take a drivers education class. When I was in high school it was part of the curriculum (and free) and all kids were required to take it. I had an instructor named Jim today, who was a total nightmare. Upset from the start about something that wasn't related to the test. First he handed me the keys, and as I was trying to unlock the door, he was telling me I was pushing the wrong button to unlock it. I was literally showing him that it was not me that was the problem, the lock wasn't working. So I manually unlocked his side, just for him to reach in his passenger window, re-lock it, and lock it again and he was already impatient. Then he forgot the "chip" for the Kia we were going to be driving. So he had to go back in and get it and he was swearing under his breath because he was having a hard time inserting it which I found to be very unprofessional. He was also very impatient when it came to getting started. I admit I was nervous, as is anyone being judged on their ability to drive. He wore a scowl on his face the whole time and was very unprofessional as we were on the road. Making comments like "let's go!" And "why are stopping?!"( there was literally a stop sign about 3 feet ahead of me And I was slowing down to stop) .. And at several stop signs he stepped on the breaks on his side, not giving me a chance to do it myself like he didn't trust I knew how to stop a car. Please keep in mind I am 26, not some 16 yr old teenie bopper. I feel like if I had ANY other instructor I would have passed. He is the only reason I am rating the 911 drive school a 1 star. He disqualified me from finishing the course as I "did not stop all the way at stop signs," and I was "breaking the law" ..how am I going to stop when he is doing it for me like 3 feet behind the stop sign?! The sad thing about this is that I was actually warned by two other people who recently failed their driving test from this guy, and passed with flying colors with a different instructor . Everyone else inside at the front desk were very kind and helpful and I even called to reschedule my next drive as I accidentally chose a day that I work. She was kind and helpful, even though the computers were apparently down. Overall him made me feel incompetent and I was very discouraged. I did not complain to the front desk as they were working on the computer that was down and Jim was standing there staring at me as I was rescheduling, trying to hold my composure and he made me very uncomfortable. I feel very discouraged. Read Less

I spoke on the phone with a manager from driving school location at Silverdale I believe, her name is Carol.I felt that she was rude, and wouldn't let me talk. She was making accusations that I was being hard to talk with and didn't want to service my wife who is japanese. The "manager" was trying to talk me into buying more car lessons because she literally didn't want to book a second test for my wife unless they "instructed" her again. I told them I just want to book a test then I will keep teaching her before the test. I can't afford to keep buying her "professional" lessons. Which I did a couple of times already. they are not fully teaching her the whole 60 minutes.  I just can't believe how inappropriate and unprofessional the manager Carol was. She literally told me to never call again and they won't service my wife anymore. My wife has been thru so much in this past year, belittled in the short year because she isn't a American citizen and English speaker. I couldn'tbelieve this could come from a DRIVING SCHOOL Read Less

Simply, just not satisfied. You have to be willing to fill in a lot of gaps in teaching how to drive. Not just time in driving but rules and processes believe it or not. They leave a lot of gray or vacant information. The problem is when it comes to the actual driving test. Small gaps in teaching cause a fail on the test. I suggest you study the states hand book as well so you can fill in these gaps for your new driver Just not teaching these points. Exact information is important I think. So don't expect them to do it for you. You must brush up on what is important leaving few if any gaps. Read Less

Just plain terrible customer service. Then when I complain because they told me I was okay to take a skills test when in reality they lied knowing full well my knowledge test was expired. Then they blame it on me and say I should have known that before I tried to schedule mu test. So apparently dont call and ask them if my knowledge test is good even though I took it there. What a bunch of assholes. Never would reccomend this place. They stole my money. Read Less

I had an awful experience here with almost everything. The problem was my driving instructor, I want to put his name but probably shouldn't. He was the rudest, meanest, unbelievably cold hearted man I can honestly say I've ever met. He walked in with a cartoon frown upon his face, and I thought I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but I was right. He didn't make small talk, or any talk in that matter, very impatient as if I was taking up his precious time and didn't make sense to him whatso ever. When we went to my car he was not specific on what he wanted done, he told me to show my hand signals, alright I did, and what I first got from his mouth was "AND.....WHAT DO THEY MEAN?" I let it go, maybe I was just THAT stupid. AKA during the drive all I received were unnecessary and 100% negative comments. Example! "Are you trying to hit the mail boxes?! are you?! you're going too!" when obviously as a driver before this, I wasn't even close. And the one thing I can say he did constantly was SIGH. Sigh here sigh there, he was the most annoying and frustrating person to drive with. Let alone I was more than nervous in the first place, he made me feel as if everything I did was wrong. He failed me, and no that is not why I am writing this poor review. I would have probably passed it anyways if he didn't criticize everything with his constant sighing. My rant is over, but I do not recommend this 911, I don't know how any other of the 911's are but I surely suggest if you or your child doesn't want to end up failing/crying at the end of this, do not go this port orchard 911, you might happen to fall into this unhappy mans lap.Read Less
