Wish I can give this place no stars, literally the worst place to get your license from. I took it 3 times and they failed me for stupid stuff. First time was not stopping at a stop sign when I did. Second time was failing to yield when it was a yellow light and I had the right away. The 3rd time happened today when I looked in all directions and she did not tell me to go straight at all so I turned to the right. I had my foot on the brake on the whole time and said that she failed me because Linda (the examiner) had to take control of the car when I had full control of the car. I didn't ask for her help. Now I still have no license after paying $50 the first time $45 for the second and $40 for the 3rd time. They will fail you for everything and this place needs to be shut down. I graduated from driving school! If anybody I know is planning on getting there license soon I highly recommend going through this program! All the instructors were great and it was a excellent experience to go through. It really paid off and I know quite a great deal about driving, and the inner workings of a car. Absolutely enjoyed my visit! I came just for my drive, went early and they had another instructor bring me since i was early! Everyone was very nice and helpful! I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent at northwest drive school inc. It was not easy but much worth the investment & effort. Excellent in-class instruction from Sam, and equally excellent drive instruction from Gary, Ed, & Sam. I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with this drive school. I also appreciated the flexibility and willingness to help me out. Just left the DMV & got my temp license until the real one comes in the mail!!!! Couldn't have done it without you guys. Thank You! I just finished the last class in your Sequim location and I gotta say, I am disappointed. I was given a teacher named Tabitha and she spent more time reminding people to call her "Tab" and trying to friend the students than helping us do good at our tests. Your teachers do not do good jobs at making sure everyone understands the material and I was not given any help at ALL when it came to the final test. I didn't even get the right answers on my study sheet so I could actual...ly study. You guys had PLENTY of time to grade and give me the correct answers on my sheet on Session 10 but you claim you didn't. The teacher talked way too much and constantly told stories (that are obviously fake or the truth is stretched) instead of helping us succeed. I did fine on every test except for the final because she did not help at all. I will come back to retake the final test but will NOT be returning to this location after. See More Read Less

Both of my daughters have attended NDS and they had a good time.Neither had really driven at all before the class started and now understand the laws and have absorbed the safety techniques. Kudos to the staff who actually get into the car with these kids and teach them to drive--they're fearless! :D My girls always felt nothing but positive after each of their drives. Tabatha has been a great help for me--quick to respond to my many questions to clarify laws and the steps we need to follow to get my girls licensed. Read Less

actually i went to and am currently going to drivers ed right now. and we have 19 people in my class. yes sometimes the rooms are small but they cant always control what room you get in its whatever building they rent that picks the rooms. and the reason they have so many rules is because driving is very serious and i think all the rules are completely cable able of doing. if you child cant follow the rules then he or she is not mature enough to drive. but what do i know im only 16. The instructor was disrespectful towards my family, they have the most ridiculous amount of rules and he was a lousy instructor. I don't know what the other teachers or locations were like, but the one I went to was terrible. They jammed 16 teenagers in this tiny room, that they call one of their classrooms. The amount of money I paid, I think they could of updated the books, that a lot of were in pretty much terrible shape. Honestly, I don't care about the room, the books or the location or the dumb rules, it was the disrespect that was shown towards my family and I. I received lessons awhile back from northwest driving school and it really helped me on the way to become a good driver. Just recently I passed the test to get my license and through everything northwest driving school was amazing. I'd suggest them to anyone who is looking for lessons or just somewhere to get their license. They were not only kind but very accomidating and patient with me. Read Less

Find another way to help your child get a drivers license.  They will rip you off.  And the tests that they use to teach children are not even valid WA driving questions.  My kid took a couple of their tests 3 times and I sat in on a couple they were near impossible to understand.  Save your $600 there has to be a better way. Also DO NOT PAY them to test your kids driving, they look for anything to end test quickly and do not even give the entire test.  also the instructor told my kid she was going to cause accidents for being cautious at controller intersections and that she shouldn't slow down because the guy behind her was going to rear end her. I've taught ALL my children to be cautious at intersections period. Read Less
