My out of state license had expired before I was able to get my Washington license, so I unfortunately had to take the written and drive tests in order to qualify, and was a bit apprehensive about doing this again after 15 years. The staff at Munro's made me feel comfortable and at ease every step of the way!After reading other reviews and making note to be aware of the issues mentioned in the negative reviews, I proceeded with Munro's. Their website has all the information needed, the staff was very helpful and friendly on the phone and in person, making sure I knew what was to be expected, along with their policies/procedures and the instructors were great as well! I cannot recommend Munro's highly enough, and with multiple locations, it makes it very convenient as well!!NOTE: Be sure to listen to the staff as well as carefully read the website as to what is required and expected and you can avoid the "Negative" experience others reviewed about on here!! I highly recommend Munros Driving Instruction. My daughter is just finishing up her drivers ed and she loved it. She loved her instructor Scott. So a little story we were in a car accident back in July hit by a man who ran a red light and hit my daughters side his truck was stuck in her door it was a scary traumatic experience for her and our family. My daughter didn’t want to learn how to drive after that, but Munros has such great instructors that helped her be so comfortable getting behind the wheel. Was really happy to put my child through Munro's for Drivers Ed! The parent orientation with the instructor was helpful in seeing how the students would be taught - realistically and with humor, and the requirements for passing were made really clear - how many classes a student could miss, which ones could/couldn't make up, etc. only wish I had known about the Anacortes location also - the Mt Vernon location was out of the way for us in the schedule of kid pickups/school/sports etc. Read Less

My son Yassin Albuhaleg did his driving class with Munros at Cascade High School and his drives on saturday with Gary Tate. He enjoyed having him as a teacher and driving instructor.
