I am so fortunate I found this school, the staff is great, always willing to help you, the company president Dion did everything possible to accommodate my needs and schedule, I couldn't have gotten my CDL without his help. The Instructors Anthony and Octavius were big keys to my success they were reliable, always early and ready to get started on time, patient, and reassuring. I consider every employee there a friend now. They have job placements after you get your CDL and are respected in the trucking industry, they could place you in jobs that would normally require 2 years or more experience to even have a shot. Hands down #1 school in Wa. Read Less

Too much time spent sitting on my ass staring at a piece of paper, something that I could have done from home. Eventually I just started asking if I was driving the next day and if not I didn't show up unless I felt the need to practice backing. I came to this school because I wanted to learn how to drive a truck, I spent several thousand dollars because I wanted to DRIVE, not hang out in an office twiddling my thumbs. Also the school heavily promotes their job placement assistance program which is an absolute joke as it's literally just one of the front desk staff reading off job postings on Craigslist. Overall it's not the worst school out there but definitely not the best. Read Less

My experience has been nothing but positive!!! The instructors are kind and patient and have done quite a lot to help me get through the DOL test. After the test, they have provided training for real word skills on different equipment and setups. The placement program is great, I have had multiple jobs to apply for throughout the whole program. There are alot of OTR recruiters that come in, but that should not be mistaken for a placement program. I have asked the front desk everyday for job postings and have been able to apply! Read Less

I would have, to say that this was the best investment that I've ever spent! Unfortunately because of a few instructors, I couldn't give it an overall 5! For one hands down you can't find a school that will allow to take as much needed time to test out on your Pre-Trip, Backing or Driving on your CDL. No Pressure! For the most part some of the instructors really do want to help & see you succeed. For a person that has never driven a manual transmission, getting into a Semi-Tractor/Trailer was a bet nerve racking at first, but by the end of the course lets just say I want purchase a manual transmission vehicle now...lol! Not to mention that they have over a 96% Graduation/Job Placement. It really don't get any easier to obtain CDL & Career! Now a Special Thanks to Nic, Dion, Randy, Isaiah  mainly everyone in the front office and a few instructors Darla, Clair, Rick & David to name a few. I have my CDL A w/ all the endorsements besides Hazmat!!! Read Less

I recently graduated from 'CDS' and I can honestly say it was worth it, I've read some other reviews that were written where people complained about training yourself, and not getting help. Which in my opinion is an inaccurate observation. Ultimately is comes down to the student to apply oneself. The instructors are all nice, and have their own unique techniques of helping you to learn how to safely operate a Cdl, I would attend CDS again anytime, and definitely apply my time there focusing on pre-trip & in-cab procedures. Worst month i could have ever experienced  u start out in the office with the smooth talkers and all the lies then u go one week in a class room to get u to the point where u cannot refund u your money back . then for the next 3 weeks u sit and wait around 7 hours of your 8 hour class . u drive for an hour and back in for 10 min , the driving instructors "not all " have the biggest egos u will ever see and make this a very unpleasant school to be in . Very poorly arranged when it comes to training the students. The 3 weeks of driving an actually trainer went over pre-trip with the group twice other then that good luck and u are on your own. u pay all this money to train your self u will feel like in the end . also the front office  will tell u they help with jobs NOT. either u go pick long haul that any one can get hired with out this school or u don't get a job as they clam so strongly while u are in school . i have contacted everyone in the office even Dion and no help for work . CDS has no name for it self that will help u earn a job its just what they like u to think but they know no employer knows about cds or cares where u finished school. drive by the school look at the old trucks and u will understand your self . i got my cdl in the end but sadly i had spent $1600 more then in another school witch i might have actually enjoyed.
