Driving instructor stressed me out so much that I cried my eyes out after my test. Given how much she complained about students putting her life in danger, you would think she would have known that stressing out your driver is how you get killed. But, she was one bad apple which is not fair to represent all of the staff at this establishment as she was the only bad experience that I had. All of the other staff members were very kind a curtious to me. The lady I took my permit test with helped me stay calm and had a very fun personality. Great place. I took my written test, passed & scheduled a drive immediately after. They had great open availability. I did my written on Friday and they offered me a Monday drive test . Loved how quick and easy it was. No long wait in lines or having to wait to schedule drive test. Lee Ann was an absolute sweetheart and I loved being able to work with her! Amazing school and instructors! I'm so very thankful for Leanne. She not only reviewed, corrected, and taught me what I needed to know to pass my driver's exam, she also calmed my nerves and worries and helped me feel confident in what I could do. Learned a lot from this place. I put off getting my license for a long time. Pricy but you do learn a lot. I signed up for a weekend class, it's 15 classes that are each 2 hrs long. 5 drives. Was 500+ in cost. Written test at the end of the class. My teacher was Trooper Ron. Made a few good friends during the corse. If you decide to take a road test with them at the end of your class then you can choose between using your own vehicle or using one of there's. The cost is 40$ for yours 65 for theirs. Leann was super nice she was my driver during my road test. My class ended on the second of July and I had my license by the 9th! Would definitely recommend going here! Read Less

I want to thank Leanne at 911 Driving School in Lakewood, WA. She is highly knowledgeable, helpful and efficient in her way of teaching. She was very pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. She is the only instructor that is not law enforcement but knows the rules of the road and all traffic laws and has over 20 plus years instructing. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend her to new drivers, young, old and in my case, in need of a refresher course; which are great for those adult drivers worried about there drive test. You can tell she enjoys her job and loves teaching. I also want to thank the wonderful woman at the front desk for returning my calls and answering all questions. My twins are both 911 grads and loved it! There were many options for where to take the classes, instructor times and they even gave more attention to my daughter (needed some work). Both are now great drivers and have even given me tips on some of the small things I forgot after 25 years of driving. Can’t say enough good things about this place! The instructors were caring, sincere and fantastic! As for the first review, did you ever think about YOU driving your child to one of the many other sites? Did you write the TGIF restaurants and ask them to stay remain open until the end of the school when they could not afford to stay open? Just sayin! Read Less

What an exciting time in your time! I almost cried when I dropped my son off the first day. I am so proud of him. He LOVED this place and the instructors. I actually met the owners when I paid and they were the nicest people and took the time to answer all 100 mom questions that I had, even though they were closing for the day. Sounds like the first reviewer was too lazy to drive their kids a few miles down the road to one of the many other 911 school locations. 911 are a bunch of QUITERS!!! Decided to stop teaching drivers ed. at my daughters school after more than half way through the year. They say its too expensive to teach there... My problem is WHY did you agree to do it if its too expensive? You knew going in what it would cost.
