Great school if you are an adult wanting to get lessons. . I personally recommend Jason as the driving instructer. He allows you to make mistakes and instead of just correcting you. He asks you what you think you did wrong and then tells you. Great instructer and fun to joke with. Defiantly has no qualms butting heads if need be. Read Less

The instructor Sydney Collins is the best, she always there to help a student, I've learned the most from her, but the license testing they hold is hard, they ask questions that don't even invole driving, just for the student fails and have to retake, that's how they make their money. I would recommend take drivers ed with Sydney, but take the license test somewhere else. Read Less

I think this place is pretty professional, however I've heard from a few parents that was not happy with this place, that some instructors or staff has poke fun with individuals that ends up taking the knowledge test several times, and calling them names really?? I would like to take my son in for his knowledge test but, I'm not sure of going to this location, cause do they even genuinely care, in helping folks or, just taking people's money and making jokes with their expense??!! Whom ever is managing this location, double check your staff and, hope they're staying professional. It's pretty concerning, and there are kids with ADD or ADHD in maybe taking the test, hhmmm I wonder what they're saying about them just saying... no one is perfect and deficiencies isn't something to be joked about!! The only reason that I don't give one star is because there was virtually no wait to have my son take the knowledge test for his permit.  We registered online, all was well at that point and then my son couldn't find his ASB photo ID card from school and that delayed our timeline for his test. A month went by and being a working single mom means I have a million things going on constantly.  I prepaid for this test but when I took him back today no mention was made of payment already being mad so they charged me again. My son was taken to a private testing room so I went to the car and looked at the Visa statement which showed a charge to this driving school in May. I talked with Rachel to see if that charge could be taken off and she said that the policy states that there are no refunds issued.  I tried to explain to her that I'm not asking for a refund on the service provided but want to be refunded for the double charge. She basically explained to me that this was my fault for not telling her it was already paid for and nothing can be done. I've been on both sides of customer service, this is an excellent example of bad customer service. Read Less

My son experienced ridicule by the staff here after not passing his driving test and struggled with the comments that were made, almost to the point where I was going to turn the car around and give the jack ass behind the desk a piece of my mind had it not been for my son saying he just wanted to get away from there. It seems to be a running theme, at this location, that they treat those who don't pass the test as if they are worthless and stupid. It's worth the drive into Smokey Point to avoid this location and treatment altogether. Had a bad experience with my driving test. Taking driving test is very stressful so the driver instructor should make sure to make the examinee/student feel comfortable and calm before driving... but that's not what I have experienced. Everytime I asked for some clarifications with the instructions all I get is a strict, grumpy and a scary face. Having all my questions being answered with "I don't know". After failing the test, she even told me that maybe I should take driving classes or have someone teach me,coz I maybe have a communication problem which makes things hard for me to understand. Was so depressed and down hearing those words. Glad I took my driving test to the other defensive driving school and finally had my license. Read Less

I took my drive test and got a 65%. The only thing I did wrong was parallel parking on the curb. She said "I looked in my mirror too much" and "my right turns are wide" like yes but also I was still legally in my lane? I highly do not recommend paying these people for services, unless you are a perfect perfect perfect driver. Which nobody starting out ever is so? They just want me to pay for another test. I have a minimum wage paying job. I can not afford this so I'm getting a bus pass. Cool. Read Less

I'm just like Jeff F who gave them one star. The little old lady was so particular, it's insane. I think she failed me just so she could get another $50 out of me. She told me I failed because I went over the imaginary line in the road, thats crazy! She also failed me because she had me park behind a truck on a side street, I put the car in park, and later she told me the car was on the hill and I should of turned my wheels toward the curb.  There was absolutely no hill!!!!  Maybe in her little mind. I have been a safe driver for over 30 years and this old lady is crazy. Do not go to this driving school, or at least don't have her as an instructor Read Less

I do not recommend for dol testing if you lost your license, and need to test to get your license back. I don't think the little old lady would have passed me, ever. I have to have an ignition interlock in my car, and I think this was the end of testing as far as she was concerned.  It started out with my hand signals, she said my thumbs were not positioned correctly! Are you serious? It didn't get any better from there. Needless to say I got a 76%. I have been a safe driver for 25 years with no accidents. What a joke. Went the same day to 911 driving school in Everett and got a 98%. Lost 2 points for backing around a corner....in my suburban! LOL. Read Less

Took my DOL written test here today and passed. Pros to not taking it at actually DOL office-less then 10 minute wait to test-quiet environment and don't feel rushed-only have to bring permit Con to not taking it at actually DOL office-you have a time limit but they are not to strict about itNOTE: if you took a defensive teen course then the first 2 attempts are free.
