Outstanding team of racing professionals and skilled amateur mentors and coaches. I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the morning introduction to the advanced road skills seminar addressing safety, driver awareness,  impact avoidance and steering, braking and throttle overlap and performance degradation. In the afternoon i  was impressed with the coaching I received from Sarah around the track in the FRS, after a few goes in the car park learning to change gears with my off hand (I'm an Aussie) I was ready to maximize my timing and push the limits in my driving capabilities. I'm very very very keen to return and I'm using these skills every second I'm driving my Infiniti! Thanks team you rocked my world. I'll be back mate - saving my cash as we speak !!! I absolutely loved this program and I'm ambitious because of the extremely compelling feeling of 110 miles an hour into a curve on a 2mile circuit to name only one reason to get hooked! I have attended both the Novice and Licensing schools with Proformance; I can't tell you all enough how much I appreciate the knowledge, feedback, and just overall professional experience I received. They cleaned up some old habits, and made me more efficient in my driving. I have been to other evolution type schools, but this by far is the most professionally ran as well as the only one that will provide you the resources to get you out on the track. I bought my 17 y/o son and myself a one day course with PRS and was thoroughly pleased with the experience. The training course is well structured and professional. The instructors are very professional and friendly. My son got to SAFELY experience proper high-performance  and defensive driving to learn what a vehicle can and can't  do. They do a great job of stressing safety and keeping the racing off the streets and on the track! (unlike Hollywood!) We both learned a lot from the experience. I did the teen driving clinic on request of my parents as an early birthday present which (to be honest) I wasn't all that excited for. I would call myself an okay driver since I've only been driving for the last year or so but after taking this corse I definitely feel like a stronger at the wheel! Don, the owner and main instructor, made all of us feel so welcomed and comfortable in and out of the classroom. He used a unique teaching style which made me looking at driving in a whole new way. I bought my husband a day at the track and he was absolutely thrilled -- the 1-Day High Performance training was one of his best experiences ever (except for marrying me :))!Don was very helpful helping me figure out what to buy and what was involved. I participated in the Women Only track day hoping it would improve my driving skills and give me a chance to experience the race track.  The class did not disappoint!  Took my own car and learned a lot about safety and the right lines to drive.  By our third lap time I was comfortable enough on the race track to really push myself.  It was exhausting (you can't let your guard down) and exhilarating!  The instructors were great, especially Don Kitch.  I use the skills we were taught every time I drive.  Highly recommend this school. I completed two different courses and a lap day with ProFormance Racing School and each time I go I find the experience to be outstanding. The team of instructors assembled there are all top-notch professionals with racing backgrounds who take their craft seriously. The track is ideal for all ranges of skills but most importantly is accessible to novices who are carefully supervised as needed until they are skilled enough to go solo. I was very interested in doing their one day high performance school. Their website says to call for availability. I've called three times in two days, and I've left messages and am unable to reach anybody nor have I received a callback. It's too bad because, given the other reviews, I was looking forward to this. I did notice most of the reviews are old. Maybe they've gone down hill since. Read Less

My daughter and I spent the day with ProFormance yesterday. I in my Ford ST taking the first step towards my track license, and my 17 YR old daughter, Samantha in her Mazda 3, leaning some valuable defensive driving techniques, that I think everyone should do every 5 years or so, to keep sharp. The lessons learned in class would be difficult to do by a parent in some parking lot, but now my daughter knows the limits (or at least understands there are limits) of her car, know...s what it feels like to lose control and get it back again, for example, what to do when a wheel goes off the road at high speed, when when you find yourself hydroplaning (very important, especially yesterday with the bucket loads falling on us.) I signed up for the 1-day High Performance driving program. I have been an automotive enthusiast all my life but never figured where to start. Had no idea of what's in store when I reached the track on the day.Don Kitch the chief instructor walked us through the schedule for the day and also thought us same basic driving techniques. He explained a lot about the importance of maintaining the balance of the car, understeer, oversteer. The first part of the day is designed to make one a better driver. The way the put it "Take you from operating a motor-vehicle to driving a car", pretty much sums up what the first part of the day is. This first half was by no means un-exciting. It was highly educational. I understood how my car operates and finally figured out how to listen to what my car is "telling" me. The second half is all about high-performance driving. You are assigned an instructor (IGOR in my case). He was an absolute delight. Within minutes I was scorching the race track at over 130mph. It felt so easy with him around, surreal even. All I did was just do exactly what he said and pretty soon I was doing things that I had no idea I or my car was capable of. He also advised me on how to look after my car. I would highly recommend taking your own cars regardless of whether it's sporty or not because this program helps you understand your car better.  These people know what they are talking about and are the real deal. I would say this is a must do for all automotive enthusiast. It not only satisfies one's craving for speed and adrenaline but also makes one a better driver. Best $500 ever spent. We sent Emma to ProFormance Racing School yesterday and it might have been the best use of our money yet. After taking driver's education and passing this, plus her WA State exams, Mike and I were both seriously worried about her ability and safety. After a full day with Don and his group, Emma feels so much more confident while driving and Mike and I feel so much better about her driving skills. Emma came home last night with a huge smile on her face and thanked us for making her go. She also said that she learned more in 1-day with ProFormance than she did in her whole driver's education course. We will absolutely be sending Katie when the time comes. Read Less

I recently completed the two day SCCA Competition Program at Proformance and it was an unforgettable positive experience. This is a class for those who are serious about starting racing, or for those who are curious about what racing is really like. Emotions during the class ranged from episodically terrifying to enormously gratifying. These guys know their stuff, inside out, backwards and forwards. But when teaching difficult skills, that isn't enough. The right temperament is essential, and these guys have that component as well. I learned a ton, gained serious confidence behind the wheel, made some new friends, and had a blast. Anyone who's interested in performance driving needs to take this class. As far as I'm concerned this is the top of the line for racing instruction, especially if you're just getting started. The drivers are actual racing pro's who've driven in Le Mans, Rolex 24, SCCA club racing and more, and know their way around many cars and know that track like you wouldn't believe. They make sure your comfortable and safe, never take you past what you can handle, but at the same time push you to the edge to improve. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Read Less

ProFormance is really great!  I first went through their High Performance Driving class back in 2007.  It was such a great experience that I scheduled my next time on the track with them before I even left for the day!  They have created a unique program that eases you into high performance driving so you are comfortable along the way.  there is no pressure and it is a very safe environment and very controlled (at least as much as it can be with people driving over 100mph).  They offer many different programs to advance your driving skills all the way to actual racing if you are so inclined.  I highly recommend their programs and will keep attending myself!
