I had a relatively poor experience with Sonic Driving School but they insisted I leave a review. I arrived at 9 am but the door was locked and they we're closed. I waited for about 5 minutes before leaving and coming back an hour later. When I returned, the receptionist was on her phone chatting, did not greet me or hang up the call, and just handed me paperwork and pointed with her finger. Let me be clear that she was not taking calls for the business but was simply chatting. I took my written test and had no issues. They told me to go wait 10 minutes while the grader returned from a drive test. I went over and sat at a table with my phone. Other people were using their phone but someone came over and scolded me for using my phone. Once I explained I already took the test, he apologized but I had enough at that point. I told him I would wait outside instead. The only reason they get 2 stars is because they provided the written knowledge test and sent the results to the DOL. Their service was awful that day and I have chosen another business for the drive test itself. I simply cannot recommend this company especially considering their prices are higher than most other driving test centers.

Good experience. The staff were welcoming. The knowledge test was easy and precise. I passed very well. Great driving school.

This place is a scam.its a waste of money and really time. Faced the worst customer service experience from the driving instructor And the lady in the reception. They were very rude/yelling and kicked us out for expressing a complaint. This wouldn't be a place I would ever refer anyone .

DO NOT COME TO THIS FACILITY! I have been driving for seven years with no wrecks, no tickets and never been pulled over. The instructor is extremely hard to understand with his accent, and failed me on not backing up around a corner past a stop sign (I had no idea this was even legal to do). He failed me on that single item, calling me dangerous on the road. He then suggested I come in to do lessons with them so they could make more money. I just wasted two hours of my day and $55 on a test that you cannot pass. There were four people in front of me taking the test, they did not pass a single person. DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!!!

Last reviewer was right about the waiting room playing inappropriate shows. When I was there, it was playing serial killer documentaries. I had an appointment at 1pm but I still had to wait because there were two people ahead of me somehow.
I paid $68 total to take the drive test with their car and I paid with debit which costed me an additional $3 to do that and overrall that is the most expensive price I have ever paid for a drive test.
The examiner was a male with a turban (I can't remember his name) and he didn't tell me anything about the car like other examiners do. He got upset with me because I was confused on how to adjust the seat when there were six small different buttons that didn't even have labels. Also I didn't like the side view mirrors because they had small circle mirrors on top of the mirrors, but that's just my preference.
On the road he told me when to turn too late and he didn't let me have my second attempts for the maneuvers. I did make some mistake but not enough for him to have failed me like he did and I know this because that same day I went and took the test again at 911 Driving School in Tacoma with a much nicer car (Kia) and I passed! Also the instructor I had was more caring and didn't yell or get really frustrated.
Note: I did Sears Driving School and I was amazing at all my maneuvers and driving safely in general, but then my teacher told me that he himself couldn't administer the test himself because he had failed the test to be an examiner so yes I failed a few times, because I was uncomfortable being trapped in a car with a male I don't know (for personal reasons) and it especially doesn't help when they stress you out or yell at you but I finally passed and so will you, just avoid Sonic; it sounded like they just want your money. Sonic insisted I needed lessons or else I would fail again, but they were wrong. GOOD LUCK!

Incredibly unprofessional. Played incredibly inappropriate shows on the T.V. in the waiting room. Showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment and had to wait 45 minutes... They argued with me on using my own vehicle when other driving school are fine with using your vehicle for the drive test.

I had a relatively poor experience with Sonic Driving School but they insisted I leave a review. I arrived at 9 am but the door was locked and they we're closed. I waited for about 5 minutes before leaving and coming back an hour later.
