I took the beginner motorcycle class. Marissa, Chris and Kevin were friendly, fun, safe, and effective in their teaching skills. They were able to coach me, a new rider, well enough to get my endorsement. As a female, it was comforting and inspiring to have such a bad ass female rider as a teacher. I've had horrible driving anxiety for years, and this school helped me overcome them! They are kind and patient and keep the humor light so the lessons never feel too tense. I took 12 classes here and got to have 4 or 5 teachers, and I can hands down say that if you are nervous or want the absolute best teacher available, ask for lessons with bill!!! He's awesome! I bought my Harley Road King because I am a bigger than average guy. The Basic Rider's Course didn't work for me because the bikes they use are for much smaller people. Chris worked with me and found me an instructor who could help me get my endorsement on my own bike. While it cost me more than the basic course would, I walked away with an endorsement that taught me to ride my Road King on the freeways in Seattle with the sense you need to deal with the poor driving habits of the average Pacific Northwest driver. I used WMST for private motorcycle training. I am a big guy and was unable to ride the school bikes for the regular Beginners Riding Course. The only reason that I rated WMST a 4 and not a 5 is that I needed to take a drive up to the range at Payne field before I got the attention I needed from Chris to get an instructor to do the training. That's the only negative... Chris is really busy and can take a while to get back to you.But once he knew what I wanted, Chris set about finding an instructor who would be patient enough to handle my needs, and have the experience I needed. I had bought myself a Harley-Davidson Road King and I wanted to use my own bike for my endorsement because I had fitted it with a special seat and mirrors to handle my height and size. Chris referred me to one of his instructors - Oly - who went out of his way to help me overcome a number of the physical and mental issues I was having with the bike; silly things like how I was covering the front brake with the wrong fingers, to big things like that I needed to do some exercises for my core muscles to improve my balance. Nothing was too much trouble for Oly. He accommodated some special requests, and also helped me stop over-analyzing all of the steps I felt He was asking for, and just ride the bike. I could not have asked for a better experience. Riding a motorcycle is inherently risky, and I was in no rush, but I wanted to make sure I dealt with all my own limitations/idiosyncrasies as I learned this skill again and Oly has been absolutely phenomenal at helping me. I took the IRT. Having been riding in the dirt most my life I signed up expecting to just go through the paces. I was wrong, I learned much much more then I thought going in. Chris thought our class. Really relaxed guy always giving feed back answered any questions that were asked. He even pointed out some bad habits I never gave a thought too. Awesome experience! Took my motorcycle endorsement class here. It's was actually fun and enjoyable! while stern in the actual teaching they actually encourage you to have fun and make it an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be taking the other motorcycle courses here. If your new to motorcycles take the basic rider course, if you know bikes and just need the endorsement then take the basic rider course. It's fun and very informative. Rude impatient staff everytime I went there. Took my knowledge test their took forever to get started very unorganized. Then took my drive test and they had me start ahead of my scheduled time even though I wasn't ready and wouldn't let me use my own car even though I had the insurance card on my phone. Other driving school I went to had no problem with it. They charged me for that too of course. Also the drive test instructor was unprofessional. Way too busy for their tiny l...ocation no one answers the phone, went in the physical location just to make an appointment. Said they couldn't get me in for almost a month which is ridiculous. Person told me I shouldn't have waited for last minute. I'm not a high schooler so that was the last straw and I called up defensive driving instead and they fit me in the next day and were extremely helpful and outgoing. Go to defensive driving instead. I attended this drive school to learn how to drive. I had zero knowledge of driving and this school was so thorough with their teaching. I also had a lot of restraints with time in my personal life and they found ways to be able to reach me around them. They definitely earned their stars!!! Read Less

I have just finished putting my second kiddo through drivers ed training at Washington Motorist Safety Training (WMST) and couldn't be happier!  (My daughter took classes there two years ago and I was just as happy then as I am now!)  The price is better than other programs in the area and they offer their classes on campus at several high schools (including Cascade and Kamiak) plus at a main location (just across from Target on Everett Mall Way).  If you live in the area, I wouldn't go anywhere else!  The staff in the office are great and the instructors are extremely qualified! Both of my kids loved their instructors, learned what they needed to, and passed both their written and drive tests easily.  As a busy parent juggling multiple kids' schedules, the part I appreciated the most was that the office staff were flexible and extremely helpful in fixing conflicts and rescheduling drives (when needed).  A+++++ Read Less

After being the passenger on the back of my husband motorcycle for years, I decided it was my turn to try it in the riders seat. I signed up for a 2 day basic riders course only ever having done the most basic of turning the bike on and shifting out of neutral. The classroom work and education was through and went over not only safety and the rules of the road but all the controls and other details about the motorcycles. Each day we spent half of it on the course actually rid...ing motorcycles and getting familiar with them. Learning to ride is so different than anything I have ever done and it was awesome to learn new skill set. Our instructors Lee and Andy really set us up to succeed and supported me in every step of the journey. It was an educational and fun approach that had me smiling all day. I'm happy to say that at the end of my course I passed all the skills get and received my motorcycle endorsement. I'm trying really hard to write an unbiased review, because I got 100% on my skills test, so I'm a little bit on cloud nine.Brief history for context:  A year ago I took the basic rider course at Evergreen in Kirkland.  They were great instructors, I just wasn't ready yet, and I failed the skills test by one point.  I spent the next 6 months riding on my permit, becoming a much better rider, but still needed to get my endorsement.  I'd moved to Lynnwood in the meantime, so I decided to go to a closer school, and found WMST.The simple fact is, the classes were identical.  You sit in a classroom for like 4 hours on a Thursday, then you meet them at the driving range hella early Saturday morning and learn how to ride motorcycles for half a day (standards, not crotch rockets - do you know how much harder it would be to take those tiny curves on a sportsbike?).  Then you go sit in class for another few hours, and take your written exam.  I think most people pass it in the high 90's, from what I can tell.Then you go back out the next morning and ride for a few hours, then take the dreaded test.  It's hard, I'm not gonna lie.  It's stressful, and people are watching you.  If you're not ready, they won't pass you, and BE GRATEFUL for that.  I wouldn't want to be riding with me on the road a year ago.The instructors at WMST are awesome.  It's run by a cool Londoner named Chris, who is excitable and energetic.  The instructors all seemed cool, though the other guy who was running my group was a little too cocky for my liking.  Nice enough, just needs to adjust his tone a bit.  That said, he was VERY willing to help me, and definitely contributed to my succeeding at passing the test.All in all, my experience was excellent, and totally comparable to other motorcycle courses in the area.  In fact, I had so much fun I think I might go through the process of becoming a trainer there. I signed up for a motorcycle safety class that was supposed to take place over three days. They sent me a confirmation email which had the dates, times, and locations of my classes. The first portion was to take place at 6pm at their classroom location. Upon my arrival at the classroom location their offices were blacked out with a closed sign on the door. No one responded to my knocks or my calls. As of now no one has gotten back to me at all. They took my money and made themselves unavailable. Read Less
