A van (Toyota Sienna) with an xcelerate driving sticker was driving like an idiot on 405 north bound this morning. Weaving in and out of traffic, cut me off so I had to brake hard to avoid getting hit, then they accelerated to block a different vehicle from making an appropriate lane change. Both vehicles ended up braking to a halt in the center lane, honking at eachother. The xcelerate van continued swerving and tailgating for the next several miles before exiting. Whether this vehicle was a driver or a student it does not reflect well on the school. Don't go to this driving school unless you want your kid to learn to drive like a dangerous idiot who crashes and gets tickets. Read Less

Do not have a driving test in this school with a woman sorry I do not remember her name. And I do not want to describe her in case someone might say I am judging her. A two years foreign driving license holder failed driving test twice in this school(right, I don't have an international license). Is this reasonable? May I think it is a good way of making money and wasting my time?If I have a choice I will choose a robot as my examiner. I was driving and she was playing her nail? At the end, she says You did not check the vision of back. Fair enough. I am done.Tips: use your own car to do the test if you still choosing this school. Read Less

Called the center for more info prior to registering online. Nicholas answered the phone and kept telling me to click on the Adult Drivers button to register even though I told him more than once, I wanted to sign up my teenage daughter. He basically told me to register online then call them for more information. He seemed to be reading from a script and did not listen to a word I said. Very frustrating phone call. Read Less

Two years prior, my son turned 16 and started his driving lessons with a different school in Woodinville.  There was nothing wrong with that driving school - my son just wasn't motivated to complete the process to get his license.Fast forward to now.  After seeing low reviews for driving schools in Snohomish and Monroe, we called Xcelerate after two positive reviews on Yelp.  It was easy to setup the road test and I appreciated that they sent text reminders for the scheduled event.We arrived for the road test, Xcelerate checked my son's license and status, and realized that my son had to take the written test again since it had been 2+ years.  Xcelerate was very accommodating and got my son quickly rescheduled for both the written test and the road test.  My son completed both and got his license.Other random observations...The employees seemed happy, which is a good sign to me.The individual conducting the road test was not stern or on a mission to intentionally induce a failed test result.  That was my perception and I got the same feedback from my son.A huge number of teens were coming in to the facility on a Saturday morning and they were all smiling.  How does one do that with a pack of teenagers!?...So, 5 stars.  I wouldn't hesitate to send my child here for lessons or testing. It was my first driving test in US and I was really nervous listening about stories of driving skills tests. I have been driving in India for about 15 years, but I believe driving is US is completely different and the rules matter the most! But after meeting Dane, I felt confident and cheered up and he taught me awesome tricks in a very succinct lesson.
