Sam is the best driving instructor I have ever come across. I was referred to Sam by a friend who had a good experience. I found that Sam is simply the best for the following reasons - 1. Sam is very friendly and personable. This makes a huge difference and helps boost the confidence of the driver/learner and helps improve performance in the road test. 2. Sam is extremely knowledgeable. He has a lot of helpful tips that help the learner master skills such as parallel parking, backing around the corner etc. 3. Sam is very practical. He helps you understand and follow the rules of the road in a practical manner such that you improve your day to day driving. He will also give you tips to score well in a driving test. 4. Sam is flexible. He was flexible in scheduling when there was a last minute conflict at work. In addition, when we discovered that the brake lights were not working ahead of the test, he even helped me fix it right there. Who does so much for their customers/students? He is simply the best! Sam charges higher than other school, we still chose him because he speaks a popular language. Even though, he changed the appointment twice just because he's suddenly not available. If you decided to go there, make sure you are a student with high priority. Read Less

I would NOT recommend anyone to come here. For the Knowledge test , they took $40 for the first test (in cash, no receipt) and said for every retest they would charge $35. Whereas in 911 driving school, you pay $25 and you get to have 3 attempts in a day with the same money. They are not doing the right thing and should be reported very seriously. Read Less

Don't be fooled by the photos on their website of happy customers. I was fooled by it which was why I decided to go take my  driving test there. I've been driving for 10 years in California and I failed! The test administrator randomly points out your mistakes so that you wouldn't pass without taking his warmup session which is an additional charge. After consulting with DOL, the mistakes that he deducted points for weren't penalties! DOL advised that I could write in to lodge a report against Sam's Driving School. Read Less

Had a very bad experience with Sam driving school.. Instructor was very demotivating. Rather than helping me learn he kept saying that you ll fail. Just FYI ..I have been driving for 8 years outside US and 1 year in US. I never got a ticket. Also instructor came late, didn't give  extra time. Read Less

It's very likely that most people have ever attended one driving school in their lifetime - so their reviews might be biased.I've attended two. The first one I've attended is 911 Driving School. Let me be brutally honest here - THEY SUCK. The instructors there were impatient and did not really explain what and why you need to do when you encounter some specific occasions.Sam is totally different - he explains a lot, to the extent that sometimes you may feel he might be explaining too much. :p But he really emphasizes the important points again and again that soon you memorize them all - later these almost become your muscle memory as well. He is also very nice and always encourages you whenever you do things the right way. I've got my driver license after only taking four classes with Sam. But I will definitely ask him to help me in the future to get familiar with freeways. Read Less
