Very good driving school. I got a letter from the DMV after a moving violation requiring me to take an 8 hour course and after looking for a few hours, this one offered the most availability. Their website is clean and concise and they allow you to register on the same day as the class which can be a lifesaver if you have a deadline to meet. The class was kept interesting and even though nobody wanted to be there it wasn't even a bad experience. I had Mike as my instructor and he was wonderful. He spoke with prowess and never in a monotone voice, which was incredibly helpful to keep everyone awake. Adding humor into the mix kept everyone interested as well. Overall, for a class I didn't want to take, AA Driving Academy did a pretty great job. I normally wouldn't leave a review for somewhere like this, but when looking for places I noticed that nobody had left any reviews in the past 4 years and it sketched me out. I want to make sure everyone interested can feel confident knowing they registered to a very solid class. As a final note, they can send information of your completion to the DMV within 2 days which can help save you the trip. Thanks again to this place for offering such flexibility with classes. I'll be recommending it to any of my friends who have driving infractions, and I included a (very) edited picture of my certificate to show proof that I did take the class and that I'm not being paid or an employee, haha.

I called to confirm my registration and Milley was friendly and helpful. She was knowledgeable about the business and quickly provided me the necessary information to meet my certification for the court. The Defensive Driving Course - 8 hrs - was informative. The instructor had genuine desires to help and truly deliver an awareness that it's OUR choice to speed and be a defensive driver. I would recommend this agency for Driving Improvement Program; Re-examination learners permit/road test; Drivers ED & 90 minute parent/teen class; and teen behind the wheel training.

Courthouse location: Chris did an excellent job with the 8/23/15 class. He made the best of the material he had to present and kept what is otherwise dry instruction, light, humorous, and practical.

It was as good as a driving course can get. There are a lot of good stories but in the end you just have to push through the videos they show you because they have to do it.

I've been dealing with AA Driving Academy for classes since I first received my driver's license, and I definitely recommend this business. Recently, I was required to take a Driver Improvement Course. I registered for one of their 8-hour sessions, as they have very convenient timings along with multiple locations all throughout Northern Virginia. Ali was a very knowledgable, professional, and friendly instructor for this program, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing to take this class.

Went to the Ashburn location after registering last evening, and it was cancelled due to only two students showing up. Thankfully, we were going to pay with cash on site and didn't get stuck with a "credit towards a future class".They really should be honest with themselves and have only class locations that actually will go forward. Not cool.

I was referred here, and I really liked the professional + fun experience I had here. The instructor was Ali + Rob was very knowledgeable. Rob is adorable. Thought the 8 hour class was going to drag on, but here the atmosphere was great and next thing I knew I had certified the coarse. Had the introductions, short videos, reviews, and appropriate breaks to stretch. Notified after I certified to dmv for increase of driver points or for others that had to go to court to avoid their tickets.

I would recommend this class to all in need of a driver improvement course. Definitely a classy establishment governed by classy individuals. Absolutely Stellar!!!

I took an 8 hour driving class here last winter. I'm not sure about the other instructors but the one I had (can't remember his name) was really nice and made the time go by super fast. He genuinely wanted to help improve our driving not lecture us for 8 hours.
Normally, people complain about how horrible these classes were. I actually found the 8 hours spent here enjoyable. I felt comfortable and I did not feel as if I was in a strict lecture classroom. Very nice guy, nice environment, excellent service.

Very good driving school. I got a letter from the DMV after a moving violation requiring me to take an 8 hour course and after looking for a few hours, this one offered the most availability. Their website is clean and concise and they allow you to register on the same day as the class which can be a lifesaver if you have a deadline to meet. The class was kept interesting and even though nobody wanted to be there it wasn't even a bad experience. I had Mike as my instructor and he was wonderful. He spoke with prowess and never in a monotone voice, which was incredibly helpful to keep everyone awake. Adding humor into the mix kept everyone interested as well. She was knowledgeable about the business and quickly provided me the necessary information to meet my certification for the court. The Defensive Driving Course - 8 hrs - was informative. I've been dealing with AA Driving Academy for classes since I first received my driver's license, and I definitely recommend this business. Recently, I was required to take a Driver Improvement Course. I registered for one of their 8-hour sessions, as they have very convenient timings along with multiple locations all throughout Northern Virginia. Ali was a very knowledgable, professional, and friendly instructor for this program, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing to take this class.

I was referred here, and I really liked the professional + fun experience I had here. The instructor was Ali + Rob was very knowledgeable. Rob is adorable. Thought the 8 hour class was going to drag on, but here the atmosphere was great and next thing I knew I had certified the coarse. Had the introductions, short videos, reviews, and appropriate breaks to stretch.
