General Info
Dominion Driver Improvement's program is designed to add to the driving knowledge you already have. You will learn to drive more defensively through evaluating your driving goals and habits, by learning about the most common driver errors, by becoming more aware of the conditions around you, and by understanding the consequences of the many types of impaired driving. We will consider risk factors that particularly affect Virginia drivers -- including aggression, hazard monitoring, and fatigue.

I had to take an 8-hour driver improvement program to get 5 positive points. I've never thought that this would become a pleasant experience. My instructor - Ann is super nice, punctual, and knowledgable. Like some other folks have already mentioned, she made the class painless. The class was held in a conference room at Courtyard Marriott in Rosslyn, great location with a couple restaurants nearby so you can grab some lunch during the 30min lunch break. Since Ann had reminded us to bring a jacket as the conference room might get cold, it was actually pretty cozy and relaxing. Ann used lots of real-world stories and made the class really fun while educational. 8-hour went by pretty fast. In the end we took a exam, and people who passed the exam (40/50) got a certificate.Overall it's a great experience. I would (hopefully not) love to take Ann's class if I need to in the future. She is so great.

I took this class before a schedule court date. Ann Klopfenstein was the instructor. She was very professional and tried to make the course interactive to make the material more relevant and bareable....
I took this class before a schedule court date. Ann Klopfenstein was the instructor. She was very professional and tried to make the course interactive to make the material more relevant and bareable. She prepares you well for the exam. I would highly recommend you take driver improvement with Dominion if you need to take the course.

I took the driver improvement course this past Saturday with Ann Klopfenstein. She is an excellent instructor. The day flys by in her class. She was very informative and kind. If you have to take this class for court, to get your points up, or any other reason, she's the best person to take it with. She makes sure you understand the material and really prepares you for the exam at the end of class.

This class was legit and Ann was a nice, kind teacher. She walks you through the program in a painless manner. You get your 8 hours checked off, your driving improvement certificate for the DMV, the Court, or your insurance, and get on your way. Anyone with concern over whether the program is certified or not should not worry.

The price is fair and the instruction is comprehensive. Instructor Anne made sure the discussion was relevant and informative, and she went out of her way to make sure everyone in the class was engaged and learned the material. Driving school is not anyone's first choice on how to spend 8 hours of their day, but Dominion makes it as painless as possible.

Took the 8 hour driver improvement course voluntarily before a court date. Yes, 8 hours is long, but Ann teaches the course more of a discussion format that helps the time pass quicker. She called the day before to remind me of the course which was nice since I had the time wrong. Going in with a positive attitude helps, and at the end of the day you'll get your 5 points and certificate as none of the material is particularly difficult.

I had to take an 8-hour driver improvement program to get 5 positive points. I've never thought that this would become a pleasant experience. My instructor - Ann is super nice, punctual, and knowledgable. Like some other folks have already mentioned, she made the class painless. The price is fair and the instruction is comprehensive. Instructor Anne made sure the discussion was relevant and informative, and she went out of her way to make sure everyone in the class was engaged and learned the material. Driving school is not anyone's first choice on how to spend 8 hours of their day, but Dominion makes it as painless as possible.

She called the day before to remind me of the course which was nice since I had the time wrong. Going in with a positive attitude helps, and at the end of the day you'll get your 5 points and certificate as none of the material is particularly difficult.
