Safe Driving Academy is one of the best driving school out there to help you learn driving. Staff is very professional, courteous and helpful. Class room setup for learn to drive is outstanding and you are able to learn the class at your pace. If you are in rush to finish your 36 hours of in-class training, you can finish it as soon as you can. It has flexible hours and staff is always helpful and work around your schedule. Mr. Syed is a great teacher and for the 14 hours of behind the wheel training, he is an awesome teacher to learn from. For people living in Fairfax or Loudoun county and are financially challenged, can get help from the county to learn from this institute as it is a registered institute with both counties. Staff is helpful to guide you if you need guidance with that. I highly recommend this institute if you are in need to learn driving from a professional institute. Read Less

I joined safe driving academy because people recommended it but mostly to become a responsible driver. I benefited a lot from the simulation session. It helped me to be familiar with driving. Although I wish the behind the wheel session was more than 7 hours, it was sufficient to get me used to my surrounding. When I get my license I will not need to ask for a ride to work or school no more. It will really be a next step for me. Read Less

Best driving school in Virginia! The hours are very flexible and can work around your schedule. The prices vary and will be worth paying for. My driving instructor, Mr. Syed really boosted my confidence and made me feel comfortable driving. Thanks to him I'm ready to be on the road! Syed Iftikhar is the independent instructor for this school. He offers lessons to both teenagers and adults for Fairfax County residents, and has a 5-lesson package discount available. Each lesson consists of 2 hours of behind the wheel crash course (no pun intended) driving. I chose him because of his relatively flexible weekday and weekend schedule, and he offers pickup and dropoff within a reasonable vicinity. Once he's established that you have basic skills to operate a vehicle, he takes you out on the highways as soon as possible. At the end of each lesson he's willing to go over what you've covered. He swears by one of his parking tips, and runs you through the driving test for Westfields DMV after the second lesson or so. I find his blind spot wisdom much more useful, and felt there was a lack of defensive braking advice.I'd say the average learning driver only needs three lessons, maybe four. He loves chatting while you drive, and will intervene whenever necessary.  Expect frequent stops at gas stations. Total patience if you blow a tire as well, haha. Don't ask him to take you to the DMV on a Saturday though, the waits are way too long for him to accomodate the schedule. Read Less
