Took my 16yo for her driving test and paid 60 dollars in advance over the phone per there policy. Once the lady took her to do the test she was gone for less than 10 minutes. They come back on the building and she said that she can't parallel park well enough and to come back after she practices and they would only charge half price for the next test. I asked my daughter if she was allowed to pull back out and readjust and she didn't know. She explained the instructor sat there silent the entire time. She didn't drive anywhere just parked and was sent away immediately. 60 dollars for a 10 minute parking test that included no driving at all..... I don't recommend this school at all unless your a teen is a master at parallel parking. Read Less

My son took the Driver's Ed class last summer. The instructor was knowledgeable and captured the students' attention with his engaging stories. The in-car instructors were extremely patient and taught the drivers with a pleasant voice. My son had no trouble scheduling drives. There were many convenient times that fit our busy schedule. We had the absolutely best experience with this driving school. My teen-age daughter was terrified of learning to drive. We started her st another school in the area and also tried an online program. We heard about Central Texas and they made the difference for her! Their professional instructors, both in the classroom & in the car, were able to see her fear and turn it around. Their care and individual concern for one scared student was amazing. She is now a safe & CONFIDENT driver who respects the dangers of driving but was helped to overcome her fear and now enjoys driving and the freedom it gives all of us. This is the WORST school in Waco! Take your kids to Austin Driving school! They give you a schedule for makeup classes then change the schedule without telling you (They say it was posted on the door but who would be there to see it until it was time to make up your class!) Then they give you homework to complete. It is in black and white and a large portion of the questions ask about a red car. I call to ask how we are supposed to know which one is the red car. She tells me to have her just do the best she can!! Really? $400 and thats what I get? Read Less
