I had a great experience with this place. We are not from Texas and DPS screwed us over royally and had to use a third party drivers test provider. We went to them the same day as DPS jacked us around, got everything, they questioned the Impact test form but spent the hour to redo it because knowing my luck, DPS would reject it even after one of there clerks said it was okay. Which I believe since we have been there 3 times (DPS) for the same thing and each time are told different things to the same questions by different people. I did not has the problems that the other lady had reviewed this company as a 1, but I wasn't there either. I guess I got them on a good day, because we got test done the same day and back to DPS to get my daughter's license... which she needed asap in order to drive out of state in a week for college. So, I would highly recommend going to a third party test versus DPS, ANY DAY and this was a great option. We tried called another company and they were booked. Then called another one and they wouldn't even tell us if there was an appt available until AFTER we paid... talk about a scam!?! I don't have an issue with cash only.. many small companies are like that and trying to track shady people down who's checks bounce or credit cards don't cover, along with the credit card fees... I get it. I run a business too and the fees that Paypal charge, are just like credit card fees. So, I had a great experience with the gal at the front counter, the woman who ran the test for my daughter, even overheard a male instructor taking students back for something and then another man who came in worked there. A pleasant experience, I would go back again if I needed the services. Read Less

Absolutely horrible. Let me just start with please don't waste $70 on a road test when its way cheaper else where. I had originally came to this company to take my road test because I could not get in anywhere else earlier but now I know why they have they're availability open because like myself people are very disappointed in their experience. On the day of my driving test I showed up and was told I couldn't take my test because of a problem with my parent taught course form. We then called our driving course provider and let them talk to the island driving school. The lady walked to them back with my phone and within 2 minutes was screaming at the parent taught course representative. The immature things coming out of the island driving schools instructor was absolutely insane for an adult to be saying. The island driving lady shortly comes back to the front with her belongings in her hands and saying she could not do my test because she was too mad. She had a class she had too also teach that afternoon that she left behind. She was very impolite and childish and she is there only road test instructor and I would not want any teen to get in the car with her. They also are very fishy with there stories including the fact they only accept cash because "the dps dousnt allow them to accept card or check which makes absolutely no sense as well as saying they can't give you any info about the road test route or " dps would put them out of business" PLEASE PLEASE do not waste your money or time it is not worth it !!!
