Rude, unprofessional and shady. I paid $400 for the teen course. My son finished the drivers ed portion but because of several circumstances he didn’t do any driving. I brought the paper permit amd they made copies of it and charged me the fee again and told my son to bring back the paper permit each time. They never said that the permit was expired and we should be looking for the permanent one. They pointed it out only when we showed up for the class and said that he couldn’t drive but will be charged for the day . Of course when we got home we found the permanent permit in the mail but because of how rude they were about it and how uncomfortable they made my son feel about the SHEER STUPIDITY of not knowing about the permit he refuses to ever go back there. Now they will not refund me my second payment even though they took it using a expired permit!!! Read Less

Yoseph was professional, went the extra mile helping us understand the process. Yoseph is a kind man I could really make a friends. The receptionist girls were happy and helpful. The teaching was good and they really emphasised the focus on save driving. This was more than just a driving class for me. The course demonstrated compassion, assisting people not from the USA and teaching them how to be safe on roads in the USA learning new road rules and driving styles. The course was a refreshing eye opener on how starting a new life in a new country must be very exciting and difficult for people leaving their country and family. Beware of this school - They will rip you off I would have rated them a 0 if that was an option.  They charged us $375 for classroom instruction and behind the wheel.  After my son completed the behind the wheel, we couldn't fit in the hours before the due date.  They refused to give us an extension.  So we took our losses and signed up with another school for the behind the wheel portion, Colony Driving, which I highly recommend.  Once we completed the hours, We had to reach out to Sugarland Driving to get a certificate for completing the classroom portion.  They refused to provide it and were very rude.  They stated that they can only provide it if we went back and took the behind the wheel at their school.  We would have to pay again to take the classes, which I refused.  HORRIBLE customer service and very rude and disorganized management.  STAY AWAY!!! My mom paid about $350-$375 for instructional classes (drivers ed) & behind the wheel lessons (drive times). Drivers ed is about 3-4 weeks & mine were from Mon.-Thurs. from 4-6PM. I took it during my school year & it was kind of a hassle. The teacher barely taught us real material about driving. He got off topic VERY often & only taught us actual driving beginning & end of those 3-4 weeks. The drive times are wonderful & great practice. Took 2 months for Road Test Appt at DPS. Prior to the Appt., went to DPS, on a Tues, to confirm Appt Date (which was Fri.), Time, and all Forms needed. Arrived Fri. With everything we were told to bring. Rep told us we needed other forms as well and apologized on behalf of the other Rep and misinformation given. Told us we would have to make another appt. I'm thinking, "Are you Serious and probably would have to wait another 2 months." Anyway looked up Sugarland DS, seen all of the positive reviews, went there when leaving DPS, Scheduled road test on Monday and my Son received a passing Score. The next day, On Tues., His Birthday, returned to DPS, turned all paperwork in and received his License. Just think within a couple of days my son had his license but if we would've waited for DPS appt it would've been a couple of months. I am very pleased with Sugarland Driving School. The Administration Staff are very patient, courteous, and thorough. They were very busy but never once did I see them get frustrated or have an attitude with any customer. Took my road test here. They provide safe and well functioning cars. The test went by easy breezy. The instructor who test me was really kind and very clear with instruction (Mr. Escamicca). I recommend this driving school. Read Less

You do not learn anything in this school, complete waste of money and time. The owner/driving instructor is rude and arrogent. Resulting in very uncomfortable drive times. Once you complete the course they give you a paper along with your certificate stating the amount of hours spent practicing specific components such as driving at night,rain, parallel parking etc. It was a complete lie, never drove in the dark or rain only parallel parked once on the last drive time! There were no dates next to the practice times even though there was a column for it, and there was a signiture line to confirm said times which was not signed by anyone. Do not expect to pass the road test with this school. Your better off teaching yourself. Invest your money else where! Don't go here! Read Less

this school is crap! If you miss your driving lesson and you don't tell them two days in advance say goodbye to $50!!! Even if you have a completely legitimate reason like a fractured foot. Then they call to cancel on you and never call you back. The new management is cheap and more horrible than the last one. Piece of advice: save your money and time and go somewhere else. Read Less

WORST SCHOOL EVER! They started a new management and they're even more horrible than the last one. The secretaries don't even know what they're saying or doing. The school will rip you off. They didn't even have the car ready when I came for my class and I was supposed to wait for 15 minutes. I lost so much money because of this school.
