My daughter is currently enrolled at Rhodes Driving School (Ellison.) I called around looking for a driving education class for my daughter. When I called Rhodes/Ellison I spoke with Jacob at the front desk. He was so polite and very helpful to me. He answered all of my questions that I needed answered and took his time to assist me without rushing me off of the phone. He definitely has great customer service skills and very professional. There standards of when a child starts the school and how long it really takes to complete is not even close. My son started in June and will not finish tel late February. They are under staffed and do not hold to there contract. The best thing would ne be do it your self. They just want your $400 then you will wait tell they have time for you.Bad Bad Bad. WORST SCHOOL EVER! My son has completed the course and is unable to schedule enough drives before his 6 months of having his permit. The lady at the front desk is rude and acts like she is doing me a favor by helping me. (or lack of helping in my opinion) I have requested that the director call me and to no avail and Marie, the front desk also the Asst Manager says that the Director does not have a schedule so she doesnt know when she will get back with me! NEVER AGAIN will I use their service and I WILL tell everyone that I know. Now, we are at their mercy to hopefully get his drives done before his expiration date!!!! Read Less

Fair warning, find a better driving school elsewhere. I paid the "Premier Package" price for my son to take his driver's education here, and although the classroom portion was fine, the driving instructor portion is ridiculous. They are constantly booked, months in advance. The only hours normally open are during school hours. Paying for the "Premium" plan, the school is supposed to email/call when a driver opening is available, but they never have. Yesterday they said they could schedule my son from 3:30-5:30 today. When we got there at 3:25, there was a sign on the door saying "We will be back at 1". Just wanted to let others know that there has to be better schools out there. I was going to make this review long and drawn out.I was going to include my fascinating driving history.I was going to delve into my early driving fears.And include some cliche over the top stuff about how I overcome them.But I'll save you from my "slow clap" original review and just say that Rhodes is the best.They are patient, kind, reliable, and will help you believe in yourself and in your own driving ability.Driving can be a very daunting thing, especially if you haven't had the experience and proper past instruction.Rhodes Driving School will work with you and your schedule. They won't quit on you. They'll continue to be that vital crutch, until they've inspired enough confidence in you to reach THAT day. That random foggy day, when you just get into a car and find yourself driving around the city. Some quick breaths here and there. But driving nonetheless. And strangely enough - enjoying it. This is an excellent driving school. I didn't know how to drive at all at the beginning. After 4 weeks, I passed my driving exam with no trouble. Thanks to my excellent instructor!! He really knows how to instruct students to learn more than driving a car but also getting rid of the fear you have inside, and also Beckie made my whole experience amazing! Not only did my child value from this school but I learned a lot myself. It was not the read it out of the book instruction. It was from people who enforce the laws and handle the accidents and know what they are talking about. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants their child to learn it right the first time. Going into driving school i didn't know what to expect, but i can say that i couldn't have picked a better school than Rhodes Driving School. Here the staff is very friendly and they are more than happy to answer any questions one might have. Also, the students there are very friendly and comfortable with one another. Footage shown on driving is not boring but it's realistic by the means that it shows you what are what not to do. Overall my experience was fantastic, although i do recommend that there should be more activities related to driving ,because not only is it entertaining ,but it's a fun and simple way of learning. we never read to our selves they always explained everything to us out loud. And I never felt embarrassed to as a question or call somthing out loud because no one was judged. I really enjoyed my time here. If only they had some more hands on experiences rather then all the videos it would have been perfect. But this is a great school and I really recommend it for any new drivers. Read Less

Rodes driving school teachs and shows you that you should be a lot more careful on the road and that you need to pay close attn when you are driving. The learn a lot about things thats that can go wrong when driving. Read Less
