I love to laugh everyone that knows me knows that.... but Mr. Arizona was not funny at all. we pay 30 bucks for the class and given lunch that consist of a slice of pizza and no drink .. he thinks he's hilarious and if you don't laugh with him he says .. I have done defensive driving several times with Funny Bone and this by far was the best experience. If you have to take this course, i definitely recommend taking this course with Sean. He is engaging, he makes the class fun by doing team building exercises that helps all to feel comfortable; along with talking to us about the important info needed (instead of just videos..which can make you sleepy and bored) and by talking about his own experiences. I paid $20 extra to have my certificates rushed and 4 days later, I still don't have it. Called and spoke to Ruben, the owner. He said he "couldn't do anything about it now that it was the weekend." I told him my papers were due in court in 3 days and he'd need to Overnight it at this point. He said he would not unless I "paid him $30 MORE!" I said, "I Paid for the RUSH. YOU Didn't Rush it, therefore, this is not on me." He stated, "You didn't call here to argue with m...e, did you? Because I'm not in the mood to argue." Ruben stated I "should" get my papers by Monday and if not, call him back. My papers are due in court on Tuesday. I would NOT recommend this company ESPECIALLY if you need a rush or overnight package. They apparently pocket the money and send it via snail mail! The building was sparse, no tables to write on even. We started 20 mins late because our poor instructor didn't even have a key to the facility! Bobby, the instructor was great! He's the only reason you're getting any stars at all. He was funny, informative and made up for the lost time. He deserves a raise. This is the most unprofessional company you could ever do business with!!! I signed up for classes on TWO separate occasions at their Northeast location because I live on the very outskirts of San Antonio 35 North. The first time I signed up for a class I got a phone call the day before saying that the class had been canceled because she could not find an instructor to teach the class at that location. She asked me then to reschedule with her which I did and I was scheduled to take my defensive driving class today however, yet again I get another call yesterday (one day prior) stating that she is having problems finding teachers and there will be not be a class at the Northeast location. She then begs me to come to the Northwest location and apologizes for not being able to stay properly staffed. So this morning I take my sick toddler to a babysitter (which I have to pay) and drive over 30 miles to get to their "northwest" location. I arrive 5 minutes late due to some accident and freeway closure on 410 and I am very rudely told by a male instructor "Your late!!! You can't stay!!!" SERIOUSLY!!!!!! Now I am scrambling around looking for a last minute defensive driving class because my deadline is coming up soon. I should have just found another class the very first time she informed me that they were unable to offer a service that their company is in business for offering. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!! After mileage, gas, paying a babysitter, and the fee for the class, I would have gotten off cheaper just paying my actual ticket. Read Less

I took this class back in 2014 and forgot to make a review:I was late to class so I was forced to sit in the front lol don't be late.I hate these classes because they are usually boring but the man was very funny and I actually learned some things I've never known before. Make sure you have your own water bottle because the class is long and there's no water fountains. Videos are a little outdated. But at the same time, does it really matter...I just needed my ticket dismissed lol Read Less

Pros - The instructor was very funny and knowledgeable. Cons - There is a single washroom, most if the videos  shown are extremely dated and are of poor video and audio quality.  There is no water fountain, so make sure that you bring your own refreshments.  The turn around time on the certificates is unreasonably long, as if to force people to buy the expedited service for an extra $10-$30.Overall - not bad, but it seriously needs to be updated. 1 star is only for the instructor Bobby, who did an excellent job in teaching the course. Did not receive my paperwork in the time conveyed. Called and spoke with Ruben, no empathy, compassion, or professionalism. Continued quote "what do you want me to do, now", I'm just the person who answered the phone." After suggestions were made, still no positive feedback . I do understand,delays happen, however it's the representative of the company that can make or break the image! Too bad the female who I had spoken with, to get directions 2 weeks ago did not answer the phone! I would not recommend this company. Read Less
