Because of my main browser there was some problem getting the video to display on my computer initially. However, I communicated with the provider and this was corrected by using a second browser. There was still some delay in viewing some of the videos but they were easily viewed by appropriate keys on my computer. I appreciated the personal attention I received in getting the program activated on my computer. This was a super instructional experience. Serious information was presented in a humorous fashion that made the various sessions almost enjoyable! The main points were repeated several times and the review of facts made the actual test questions easy to remember for the exam---and for use in driving over the Christmas holidays! I may have missed this but I don't remember guidance about the distance one should keep between a stopped car in front of you. I was trained that when stopping in a line of traffic, you should stop far enough behind the car in front to be able to see the bottom of their back tires on the ground. Is that still the rule or is there a newer guide? Read Less

Hopefully you won't get a ticket, but if you do, I would highly recommend this Defensive Driving Course! Also, I would say to upgrade to the video option because I think it helped to "drive" home many of the points made about driving defensively. Overall for me, it was a good refresher of how to defensively drive, but I also I learned some things I did not know, like the best way to drive if a tire should blow out, or how to best drive in inclement weather. I chose the video option and it was informative and entertaining with the humor and retro videos. Not only did I get spruced up on current driving rules, but I learned how far we've come in safety in regards to the automobiles we drive (i.e. The 50 year crash test video) and I definitely would never want an older vehicle now. The unit that was most informative was on how to drive in certain driving conditions, especially because they aren't regularly experienced and can be forgotten. The quizzes being at the completion of each unit was also a great feature because you the information was fresh in your head. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone whether they are looking for an insurance discount or to use as a driver's safety course. Read Less

Easy to setup on MacBook Pro computer accessing course through Google Chrome. Wonderful videos and text material that were entertaining as well as very easy to follow. I liked the tests at the end of each unit so that you could respond to questions while material was fresh in your mind. It did take 6 hours as planned. I did it in one sitting on my day off. Time very well spent. I hope to be a better driver. This course was a great reminder of the responsibilities I took on being granted a Texas drivers license. Read Less

This course was fun to take and easy to use! I could log on and off when I wanted. They used different methods of learning to keep you engaged and broke up the "test" into quizzes after each section so it was not one final exam at the end. It was affordable too! Definitely recommend! Read Less

What can I say...for a defensive driving course it was as enjoyable as it gets! I opted for all videos and was entertained, never bored, and it offered flexibility for my schedule. I did not have to sit and do all in one day, but I could have if I wanted to. Enjoyed the humor along with actually learning something about the kind of driver I want to be and have tried to be. Texas approved, easy, fast. Took me 2 days to finish. 6 hours long. Many sections I finished the readings early but you must wait for the time limit to finish before taking course quiz. No final exams. Multiple times to redo; I think 3 shots at it. Not boring, entertaining. $25 for the course. Once finished they mail certificate. You are able to change or update information and order drivers record at the beginning and the ending of course. They do verification questions through the course to make sure you are who you are. Like what is your bday, license plate, name, etc. You are able to log off anytime but the video has moments of breaks after each section (8 sections). You do learn. I would have to say that I'm very satisfied so far with the course. The videos were kinda of interesting and it's built in a way that's engaging event though the content itself is a little boring. They did a good job with the course. It flows well and I was able to do it in chunks of 2 sessions. Now I just have to wait for the certificate. This course is somewhat funny & entertaining due to the use of nostalgic film, retro footage, and some silliness and humor along with making the point about safe driving. Key points are given through the short videos and text information. Questions cover the most important highlights & quizzes are easy to understand and pass if you paid attention ! Recommend !!! Course meets all the requirements of the state but mixes slight humor throughout to help guide you through the 6 hours. The vintage videos are quite an interesting insert as they are really still quite relevant but takes me back to the day of the old driver simulator in driver's ed in the 70's. Easy to follow. I did the video tutorial. It was cheaper than all of the others I found ($30 vs. $34) and I finished it all in one sitting. The best part was that they were able to access my records through the county so I was able to start right away. Read Less
