When I was new to the state, from out of the country, I went in here to inquire. It was 2 hour travel by transit. When I got there, there were two men inside the classroom. They were the one who offer driving road test skills. And one of them told me that the one in-charge was not around. At the time, I was wanting to know their services, class schedules and how to go about it. They only recommended me to visit the dps website and the sears website which doesnt show much at that time all the needed info. When I phoned them days before I visited, the person just told me to come to their location. My experience on that day was almost fruitless to nothing. I will never recommend this place . Read Less

I don't even know where to start with this review, except I guess I understand why Sears has become such a joke of a brand. We picked Sears because I remember how great and efficient it was when I was learning to drive. The driving instructor is actually great, but setting up courses is an act of Congress. We've been waiting for almost 2 months to reschedule a class (which we were told they'd take care of), turns out we'd have to wait until the end of April to just TRY and set up a class apparently, as in, call back in April to find out if there are any more openings. We've wasted over 6 months now on this school (just the practical driving part). It takes, on average, a month to schedule a lesson, which is usually 6 weeks out... or longer. You can't schedule too many classes in advance either (they don't like scheduling more than 4 at a time for a month from my experience). Of course, if it's been too long since you've scheduled a class, they want you to add in a "refresher" course before letting you test. You also have to plan around their time sheets (which are filled in less than a week), since they can't plan more than a month in advance. Avoid this place unless you enjoy wasting time and money. This will only be a nice place if you A.) already know how to drive B.) your parents actually have time to practice with you or C.) your a hot babe. If you are none of the above then you should look for another Driving School.Pros: Classroom portion of the school is very easy, the receptionists are always really sweet and you'll pass the written test with no problem.Cons: Literally everything else. This school will not teach you *how* to drive its more of the lines of telling you what's *right* and *wrong*. It would have been perfectly fine to teach that way if they didn't execute it so aggressively. They get easily frustrated when they have to explain a technique or do not follow instruction due to your insecurity. I feel that everytime I get in a car with them they're mood is unpredictable and scary. I understand why they're so tough, but I believe it doesn't validate them to think we should know everything about anything there is to know about driving. Oh wait, they assume since you are young and a ignorant teenager that you SHOULD think that way anyway so it makes them feel special and highly aggregate. When your on the road for the first time your scared, insecure and panicking. You lose everything you've learned in the classroom, because those emotions cloud your senses. It is not necessary and, perhaps even dangerous to even let a student drive in rush hour traffic in the dark without giving them a proper guidance. Instead they yell or yank the wheel to *show* you the proper way to do it. These people are not teachers, their *good drivers*.To sum it up I did not enjoy my experience here and will probably never recommend this place unless its location that you're in need of or if you are A, B, or C.
