So first off I respect her work ethic and her business but her teaching style is nonexistent. She’s more the yell when you do bad and not tell you how to do good type of a teacher, which I know it wor...
So first off I respect her work ethic and her business but her teaching style is nonexistent. She’s more the yell when you do bad and not tell you how to do good type of a teacher, which I know it works for some people but not me. I took her class a lonnng time ago and avoided writing a review but it’s something constantly annoying me so I have to say my exp.
So she does come on time for drive times which is good. First time; she comes and puts me in the drivers seat and after we find an emptier road she just tells me what each button does but doesn’t really tell me how to control it or anything of that nature. Which I understand it’s really more of a muscle memory but I need a basic rundown of the RIGHT way of doing things before you yell at me for being wrong. After that we went through my neighborhood and I guess it was time to learn something else so we looked for an empty parking area to practice. We had a very tiny one and she decided we should learn U-turns. U-turns ARE NOT the first thing you teach a young driver. I understand the lack of empty parking lots but U-turns should never be the first thing you learn.
And she added an extra drive time to the number of times I was with her. I know she mistook me for someone else cuz I only got in her car at the same time, no deviation, it was always 10-11 am but she added it a 2-3 class I never took. It would be better if she has me initial or sign after my drive time so I confirm it. It’s good she’s taking notes but don’t make wrong ones.
That being said; I respect you and I hope your business goes well but get better at it for future students.

This is an amazing school.... I really learned a lot and the actual driving part of the class helped me overcome the fear of the road and also related with the student, making the class more enjoyable...

I sent my adult son, who is a very careless driver, to do in-car driving instruction. Speaking to Ila, I got a sense that her instructional objectives were solid. I think it helped, but he is a tough subject. Payment via PayPal was convenient and I thought the price was quite fair. I asked for her evaluation of his skills in writing, via either mail or email. She texted it instead. English is not her first language.

Best experience with Ila Driving School! Ila is very kind and she helped to arrange easy pick up at a convenient location near my area for the driving lessons. My instructor's name is Nick and he is super patient and knowledgeable. Nick taught me good tips on defensive driving and boost my confidence to prepare for the road test! Great place, they serve you like family and affordable pricing. Highly recommended!
