EDIT: Yes, I made an illegal maneuver BECAUSE she had an attitude, acted impatient and then TOLD me to go around the car after saying she was not going to try to trick me or fail me. I waited behind the car and planned to stay there, I would've never went around it, but then I was told to. I didn't understand why she told me to do it but I thought if I didn't listen I'd fail. If only 7% really fail, what percentage failed that same day and specifically with Ms. Luther?
I know there aren't many other negative reviews regarding the test but I personally know people who went to this driving school and took Ms. Luther's driving lesson once and decided never to again because of her attitude and bad teaching.
I just took a test here yesterday and I was fully aware of what I was doing. I would not be angry if I actually did something wrong. If I made even one of the mistakes I was told I did, I would 100% accept my failure. That said, I'll get into what happened. I was told I didn't make full stops at all of the stop signs. I know for a fact I did. My stops were smooth, not rolling stops, but because I stopped smoothly and did not shake the car, she probably thought I didn't stop all the way. I was also told I made a wide turn which is also an automatic disqualification. Again, if I actually did this I would not be mad about my failure. I could see where my tires were and they did not touch the yellow lines as she said they did. Maybe she couldn't see that because she was sitting in the passenger seat, with the seat really far back and from there it appeared to be a little wide even though I couldn't make a more narrow turn or my tire would've fallen into the ditch. Lastly, I was waiting patiently, stopped behind a car that was trying to change lanes when I was TOLD to go around it, of course I am expected to do as the driving instructor says, who also in the beginning told me she was NOT going to try to trick me or fail me. Later, I was told that it was illegal, which I suspected but every car behind me still did the same and they all had to pass their license test. Overall, this was a horrible experience, as I saw everyone before me also fail. Not sure if the instructor was having a bad day but I could sense a strong attitude from her. This was definitely not worth the 45 dollars. I regret taking the test here and wish I listened to the bad reviews and just took the test elsewhere with an honest instructor. My practices with my previous instructor here always went great even though I was a worse driver then and am now more aware, paying closer attention to the rules. I really do not even want to give them one star. Read Less
