I only stopped by to get some information as I have seen these guys operating on the Texas Motor Speedway track as we were competing on the inside track for the Lone Star Drift Series. Worth the money for this experience. Class instructor, a guy named Starr, was informational and entertaining. The van ride before driving is very helpful for learning the track, although it is hard to process so much information being thrown at you at once. The cars are set to turn left and put up a pretty good fight on the back stretch and the roll out at completion. My particular struggle came with heading for the wall out of turn 4 - although it is necessary to complete the front stretch correctly, it is counterintuitive to purposely head for the wall. Only comment for improvement would be with my driving instructor who had virtually no patience left by the time my group (sixth of the day) got behind the wheel. The ride at 160mph was A BLAST!!! I recommend it to everyone and anyone.. I think the people that are over Team Texas could have been more talkative and nice and less cocky but thru and thru it was such a great time and definitely a memory of a lifetime!!! I do have to say the guy that helped me in and out the car was a VERY nice guy but the rest of them need some people skills. Read Less

Being on the track with Team Texas is an incredibly thrilling experience. Even if you aren't into NASCAR or racing in general a ride in the passenger seat at 160mph will be something you'll never forget. Read Less

I would give it zero stars if possible.  We received certificates for this driving school for Christmas last year from my parents.  Due to active duty military obligations, we are unable to make it back to Texas to use these before they expire.  Explained the situation via email and phone to Jenny Scott, one of the owners.  She flat out refused to consider even a partial refund for my parents, despite this service costing $350.  Unbelievably unethical to just keep $350 for a service they aren't going to provide.  Never thought a fellow Texan would treat a military family this way. Excellent experience.  You are provided with about as realistic driving experience as it can get.  Full speed with the options to out run the pack.  Very organized and professional setup.  Could not have asked for a better experience.  Buy the video it is worth every penny.  Thanks to Team Texas for an experience of a life time. OK, so...you want to be a race car driver. Hmm. Ok...aaand you don't really know where to start. Well, have I go the place for you!! I want to publicly thank Nickie G AGAIN for the recommendation. I got the 10 lap drive for my boyfriend for his birthday this past weekend...um he is STILL talking about it in his sleep. Granted, if you're merely and observer...not so much fun. If you do schedule this - do it in the fall or winter. There are a variety of rides you can chose from and really the staff is great. They make sure no one acts like a complete clown. This was definitely one of his fantasies fulfilled. I was happy that I was able to give him a ride of a lifetime (heh, heh). Read Less
