I would highly recommend this driving school. I have received great customer service and have nothing but good things to say about the girls that work in the office, especially Alicia Lopez.

I came here to read the reviews about the Sear Driving School before signing up. I was very hesitant to sign her up after the bad reviews but we decided to try it anyhow as this is one of the only schools that would have picked her up from high school.
She had a great experience at this school and learned a lot. I am very glad that we picked this driving school to send her to. As far as scheduling the drive times we did not have a problem getting a spot.
I do wish they had an online option for scheduling drive times. Read Less

The instructors really need to take into account that this is a /school/. Students don't know how to drive perfectly. They don't know how to do a perfect hand over hand turn or how to do a successful U-Turn on the first try. I was a student and out of all seven driving lessons, I actually only enjoyed three. During one lesson I flat out had an anxiety attack because the instructor kept using a frustrated tone whenever I would make a mistake (keep in mind, this was barely third lesson). Another instructor would yell at the other student who I shared a drive time with when she was getting onto the freeway, telling her to "floor it!" And "if you don't you'll die, do you wanna die?" Like, why would you even /say/ that to a terrified student? And on the /freeway/? And another instructor made me feel extremely uncomfortable when he kept calling me "sweetheart"— and it wasn't just me, it was usually most of the girl student drivers.
There was one instructor, however, that was very good. He was patient and nice and liked to talk to the students to get to know them while they drived; my drive time lessons were very easy and relaxed with him. But it was only one instructor. The rest are pretty awful. Read Less

I don't typically leave reviews but in this case I feel it is necessary to prevent others from making the same mistake I did by sending my daughter to this driving school. My daughter began the driving program mid summer in 2015 and it seemed that we had issues from the very beginning. On two separate occasions and within the first month of class, I had to complain to the corporate office about the instructor making inappropriate comments to my daughter as well as him making her leave class on the permit test day because she forgot to sign in. He assumed she did not sign in because she was late although she arrived about 10 minutes before he did.
We also experienced delays in scheduling the 'behind the wheel' (BTW) sessions. The students are given a time limit to complete all the requirements for the program but without being able to schedule BTW sessions in a timely manner meeting the deadline is difficult. For example, in August we were able to get only one BTW session. Once she completed the one session no other sessions were available that month. Also the September BTW schedule was completely full by late August and my daughter was put on the wait-list.
Most of the time, on the lucky occasions that we were able to snag a BTW session, things went well. Most instructors are very patient with new drivers like my daughter. However, during one of the scheduled BTW sessions, she was repeatedly screamed at for lack of driving skill which is the absolute worse thing to endure as a novice driver. At the end of that session, she was told that she did not need to come back until she learns to driver better. This was by far confusing to me when the whole reason for me signing up my daughter was for her to acquire the basic skills to operate a motor vehicle. I have two older sons that went through a different driving program and never experienced any of these issues with them. In fact, they were taught near perfect technique and the only thing we had to do was make sure that they practice those skills during the parent driving sessions. The Sears driving program was less expensive so I guess you get what you pay for.
In the end, we actually took our daughter to a different program to complete her driving education. I'm not sure what type of screening is done when hiring the staff but I suggest that review these policies immediately!!!Read Less
