This is a really great place to learn to drive. I've went through the whole process, and it has been a journey but I did it and all the staff there Christian, Ms. Mary, and Cathy are very hopeful and patient. I would definitely consider coming there if I needed help receiving my drivers license...... 5 star. They're the best!!!!

I called Kathy on Friday to schedule a test for Saturday using the school car, my card sent me a fraud alert so it declined, when I called back Kathy had already filled the spot, there wasn't any app...
I called Kathy on Friday to schedule a test for Saturday using the school car, my card sent me a fraud alert so it declined, when I called back Kathy had already filled the spot, there wasn't any appointments available with the school car, I was very discouraged, but Kathy asked the examiner if they could do an after hours test, they agreed, i took my test at 4 pm saturday. Mrs. Mary the Examiner was excellent she explained thoroughly everything, she made me feel very comfortable, I passed my test the Saturday I took it, after I passed she still gave me little driving pointers. Monday's here, and the DPS sent me all the way back to the school due to a number not being on the outside of the envelope (it ended up being inside the envelope). Since I don't have a car I uber, when I told Mary I was ubering she had one of her coworkers take me back to DPS. This school and it's employees are phenomenal bring your young adults you won't regret it

Would have given 5 stars but I can't as I waited for an hour for my road test. The staff was helpful but cmon I was given an appointment for 4 and the guy shows up at 5. Other than that they do let yo...
Would have given 5 stars but I can't as I waited for an hour for my road test. The staff was helpful but cmon I was given an appointment for 4 and the guy shows up at 5. Other than that they do let you parallel park before the test so that you can be comfortable on the test. I cleared the test with 100 points. My suggestion is make sure you practice parallel park if you are going for a road test as that's the first thing on the agenda for the test.

Ms. Mary guided me through learning the road rules because I just moved to the U.S.
She helped me get my license after 2 lessons. Will definitely recommend for International students who need to brush up on driving in this country and safely get their driver's license quick. Big pro is same day testing, they were very flexible and never charged me for rescheduling. You can also use their car for the test!

Started Process from Vietnam, every step of the way Cathy and Mary were very helpful explaining in detail everything. When we finally arrived at Monroy after 5 months, Mary did an excellent job in teaching my wife how to drive safely and responsibly. We used their car for the driving and the test because we did not have a car. They matched the schedule we needed and never canceled or changed anything. In the beginning, I contacted 6 driving schools in Houston, Monroy was the only one to provide information and excellent service. I highly recommend Monroy Driving School if you want your loved one to learn how to drive Safely and responsibly.

Just wanted to say that im happy with the choice i made to take my son there, we had problems getting some one outside in my family to help teach my son to drive, extra pratice, and therefor gave up and almost lost the oppertunity to get his liscens but this school contacted me and can up with a solution to help get him those training hours, we were so happy and thankful to them, they realy care! The people there are so nice and i recomend this place to every body!!

When we finally arrived at Monroy after 5 months, Mary did an excellent job in teaching my wife how to drive safely and responsibly. We used their car for the driving and the test because we did not have a car. They matched the schedule we needed and never canceled or changed anything. Just wanted to say that im happy with the choice i made to take my son there, we had problems getting some one outside in my family to help teach my son to drive, extra pratice, and therefor gave up and almost lost the oppertunity to get his liscens but this school contacted me and can up with a solution to help get him those training hours, we were so happy and thankful to them, they realy care!
