When it was time for my son to get his drivers license, we decided that I would be his instructor. I researched the available Parent Taught courses intensely. There were cheaper packages out there, but they don't present the information as well as Drivers Ed In A Box. Definitely worth the price! Got Drivers Ed In A Box and registered with the state to become the instructor. It was one of the best things I had ever done. My son was able to learn at his own pace. We took our time with the program and I know it paid off. By using Drivers Ed In A Box I feel that my son is a MUCH better driver than if he had gone to the local drivers ed class. The way the course is written makes it very easy to skip around and to go back and cover parts again, if needed. If I had a question, help was just an email or phone call away.. When it came time to get his license, I realized that I needed a Certificate of Completion. This was emailed to me within 24 hours! My son got his license on the second try (only because he was EXTREMELY nervous on the first try). I ride with my son all of the time and the driving skills he learned from Drivers Ed In A Box definitely show and make a difference. Because of this fine package, my son has the knowledge and skills he needs to navigate these treacherous Texas roads. Thank you for producing Drivers Ed In A Box! P.S. We are about to train our 3rd and FINAL driver and have again chosen Driver Ed In a Box. No - it is not a simple plug and play because the point is to actually teach your student how to drive. Thankfully, it requires a greater number of classroom and driving hours than many other programs which means we feel like our child will be safer and a better equipped no-collision driver. The results were excellent with our first two and we are grateful to have this amazing resource available to make us great driving educators and our children great drivers! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!! My daughter's friends took a driving course on line and paid $75. They also didn't have to wait a week to receive the certificate like this program. They just easily printed it out on their computer. my daughter's driving test is tomorrow. I told the ppl at Dr.Ed in a Box that we needed to receive it before the day of the test. They told me it would be here but guess what?!!! It's not here and the next available appt for her drivers test is mid July. (2 months away) Oh, and one more thing... There are grammatical errors all through the learning books and some of the test answers in the answer key are wrong. It is hard to follow even for a parent. My child became bored and uninterested quickly. Very dissapointed! NOT recommending this to all I know. Read Less
