Ray was the instructor there at the time, and even though there were only three students due to the cold weather, Ray still made the class very informative and fun for us. Everyone hates getting pulled over and receiving a ticket, but the consequences are way worse. Boring online classes? NEVER AGAIN. Ray was the instructor for the class I attended. I liked how he reviewed the points and went over things quickly and throughly. The class did not feel as long as it was. It was engaging and I liked how he asked questions after each video to keep us awake and active. I also like how the videos were very informative. I did learn new things in the class that I did not previously know, like how for interstate highways the numbers for north nd south are odd while east and west are even. The class also has a section on how to deal with aggressive drivers. I believe this is very important since we live in Houston. :) Thanks for reading. Read Less

This was much less painful than I had imagined. I even managed to stay awake the entire 6 hours! Britt Vasicek is an angel and quite entertaining. The fast pace and frequent breaks made a long class very manageable. My only complaint would be a few of the videos seemed outdated, though they may be mandated by the state and not the fault of this particular business. Even though I will never get another ticket and, hence, never need this class again, if it were to somehow happen, I would choose Comedy Driving again. Read Less

Comedy Driving is a great place to complete your defensive driving course. Variety of classes offered to suit any schedule: 2-day classes or one-day, 6-hour class with breaks. I went for the Monday 6-hour class, and was able to get home in time to start my afternoon of piano lessons (half hour away). Dwight, my instructor, covered everything and then some, in an easy to understand manner. He reviewed key points to make sure we would not forget. Brought up some interesting situations and clarified laws both old and new. Class comments, questions, and discussion were welcomed, yet he did a great job keeping us timely and on target. I'll admit that I was wrong. I deserved to be in this class probably more than anyone. I mean, I'm positive more than anyone, but I think that defensive driving is probably far worse than just having those points on your license for three years.Until I found this place. It's super cool, super laid back and Brit (the instructor) is funny and knows how to get things done. This class almost flew by, sort of. I mean, if it hadn't been for her I would have passed out is all I'm saying.If I have to go into a class to take defensive driving, this is the one I would choose every time. Six hours and, yeah, you're almost comatose from the common info that you should know if you've been driving any amount of time. It helps on the final test, though. Super fun, easy class that is informative too. What more could you ask for.The only thing I think could have used a little more solemnity was when they were talking about organ donation. I don't think there's really a place for jokes there even in a comedy setting. One of my good friends had a double transplant and I'm so thankful for her every day of my life. To emphasize organ donation instead of sort of mocking it (I get it, I get it, it's a comedy class) would be much more beneficial, in my opinion.Other than that tiny thing, it was a pretty great class. I have Dem Dix as an instructor. She really was funny, made the class fly by.  Ms Dix is a highly intelligent lady, I can clearly tell that in undertone of her speaking. Having to take a 6 hour class because of a careless decision of speeding is frustrating. I mean that is 6 hours wasted that could of been used for other productive task. Although I could of done an online class, I decided to take the class with Comedy Driving because I didn't trust myself with procrastinating. I have to say, it was the best decision I made because I not only received an educational lesson but I got a good laugh out of it. My professor, Dwight, was hilarious and very informational. Adam did a good job keeping the class moving.  The truth is any defensive driving class is going to suck, but this is much better than taking online.  The videos were outdated, but Adam's commentary on them made them funny. Defensive Driving usually freak everyone out on how boring the classes usually are and I will admit to have taken one along time ago and it was horrible ... but i think I may have found a good spot this time, of course I hope I don't receive another ticket but the instructor/comedian ADAM KOMAR made the class enjoyable. Now down to the money the original price is $29.00 but if you bring the awesome yellow mailer coupon it "SAVES YOU MONEY" and drops down to $25.00 (there is a $1.00 fee if you pay by card so bring Cash or check)The online class is also 25.00 bucks without the coupon so give that a shot too. Other than that it was really enjoyable and you get to write a fun note on the wall for others to read.
