I am going to complain BBB because this is not a CDL school anymore. They simply take your money and teach you nothing. All they say is just finish our automatic driving classes and you are good to go.They assume as if we are trained with manual driving. You have to sit in front of the computer and get use to those readymade questions. I think they bought the software through some trucking companies and using it over there as "Exam Practice Set". They don't have license to take the Truck outside (on road) so the training will be on a dead end street somewhere behind their house. Really UNPROFESSIONAL..................They will teach you through the old 35Ft Flat Bed trailer which makes no sense. It would have been better if they start teaching manual truck training, pretrip inspection, coupling-uncoupling on different axles, road training and more........All you do is pay them $ 1600 so you can sit there and play some truck simulation video games. I don't know if they opened the school for those mexican truck drivers who come here with a knowledge of manual driving and just want to get job.Really Sad. I am thinking to visit Dallas for training since there are no great options available in Houston. Read Less

This school is no good. It's a scam to take your money. Beware. The person name Rudy is really rude and never teach anything. They took my money and don't return now. I should have gone to some college or truck company directly instead of joining AAA. It's a waste of time and money. Seriously there is nobody to teach. All they do is tell you to sit in front of computer all day long. They don't take credit card or check which is another drawback because if you won't your money back then there is no proof that you have paid them and it's a matter of $ 1600 so do some serious research before you join this school. Very Bad. They take my money and don't return now. I don't find job because everybody ask for manual driving. They said that they know lot of companies but nobody will take because of not knowing manual driving. They don't teach anything just make you sit in front of computer & make you play kids Truck game that they call stimulation. They charge too much $ 1600 for nothing. They don't teach manual driving & you can't get job without it.It's been 3 months & I don't find any company. They tell you all good things and then its all money taking. All my money paid to AAA was of no use since none of the big companies will hire me.This school is good for those students who are in the transportation business or knows somebody and can get the job with or without manual truck driving experience. If you want to go as a real professional driver then you need to learn the basic fundamentals through professional school or by trucking companies. There is no shortcut. It was a different ball game when I learned Pre-trip Inspection, backing, driving 53" trailer (not like the Junk, AAA has), log, coupling, uncoupling and more through lone star so don't waste your money on this AAA school. Really good experience. All of the instructors were good and patient and made sure I got everything down packed before I did my road test. My only issue was the distance I had to travel but it was well worth it. The trucks were easy to drive and handle. They made sure I was ready and comfortable 2 weeks before my road test so I was pretty confident. I'm not understanding were the bad reviews come from. My experience was quite pleasant. I already know how to drive a manual truck so I wasn't worried about that. People should learn how to drive a manual car before trying to jump into trucks and learn.
