DO NOT use this place! Your child won't be able to pass the road test at DPS because their training is totally inadequate and you have to beg to get drive time. Go to Safe Start in Rowlett. They will not only teach your child how to drive they will save you MANY HOURS of waiting in line at DPS. My teen took the classroom portion over a month ago and the mesquite office said they don't have an instructor schedule for the road portion. I called all the locations and they don't want to give up their road time because they are over a month behind. This company is ridiculous! Bad customer service, getting the run around. If I knew it would take over a month to get drive time I wouldn't have given them my money. I was told to go on the website and make a complaint and it would go to the owner. I just left a message for someone at the Rockwall location to call me. My daughter took your driving class in April and has been trying ever since then to get set up for drive times. Either she has to leave a message and no one ever calls her back, or someone actually answers and tells her to call back the next day. Every. Single. Time. You have 24 hours to call me and fix this. I will report you to BBB and demand a refund of her class fees and the release of her certificate... so she can complete her driving hours somewhere else. There are tons of negative reviews against you for this exact problem. Stop acting like a bunch of irresponsible idiots and do what you're supposed to do. MESQUITE LOCATION, After 17 voicemails requesting a call back to schedule drive time, never received one return call. No return phone call, no release form in order to transfer to Sears to complete her drive time. The one in Mesquite needs to close down. They never have drive times. I don't think they even have a teacher for the drive times. I really appreciate the one on Beltline and Glennbrook. They have been great! It is just a little far for us to drive to. Read Less

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! This driving school has very poor customer service and management skills. They mess up the drive time schedules and then charge you no show fees for drive times that you did not even schedule (if u do not pay fees they will not release certificate). They rarely answer the phone or check their messages. From my experience as a parent, they do not care about the mistakes they do costing the customers money and time. Read Less

They never have drive times. Every time I call, they tell me they are booked up. My some has gotten ONE drive time in 5 months. Next available...a month and a half. Or at 3 or 4 while kids are still in school. Withdrawing my son, doing parent taught...just to complete drive times! Waste of money...don't do it! Read Less

This place is a joke in rockwall.. my daughter is being charged 50 dollars because they said she had a no call and no show when she made every appointment bit they lost the paper work the said she didn't have her permit when she dis and they took it because it had expired I get that but she did have it... plus everytime you call can't get anyone to answer... so glad she is finished but if possible find another place that's more organized. If I could give zero stars I would! We have been trying to get the paper work showing my son completed driving school for the last 3 months! All the money and time spent and he still cant get a drivers license! We call,leave messages and go up there and in the rare occasion anyone answers or is there we are told only the secretary can get it out of the file cabinet. Problem is there is NEVER a secretary there! Its insane! Almost $500 and for what?? And the 5 star reviews you ...see are from the owner and employees. I work in customer service behind a desk and have no idea how this place is still open! Hell if yall need a secretary I will come work part time and guarantee I will get things done! I have another 14 and 16 year old and will never use them again! I suggest anyone thinking of using this place go elsewhere! All American is required to keep accurate attendance records by the State. Daily work is accumulated daily to reinforce student attendance for all 16 class sessions. If a student is indeed present in the classroom for the full 2 hours, there will be work and a grade to confirm that! It's unfortunate that when a company enforces rules (actually laws) that we are portrayed as unprofessional.......when actually, the opposite is true! Pick up locations do change from time to tim...e, and sometimes because the public school requests it. Our shuttle is designed to pick up students attending "Class". If there is sufficient room, we allow those doing drive times to ride as well. All classroom students are made aware of the designated pick-up areas and are informed if any changes are made in the designated area. The woman at the front desk was abrupt and short. I kept detailed dates about all the the classes my child attended and six months later, the week before my child's long awaited drivers exam I get a call telling me that they have that my child is missing three classes. We drove her to the classes ourselves and documented it but was now required to pay a fee which I felt I was being scammed. I also was required to bring a notarized form as to why I was filing an extension. I w...ould have had plenty of time had I been given notice six months earlier. They also changed the pick up location after school and left her and when I called no apology was made, simply that it had changed weeks ago, as if I was supposed to know this. The only plus, is the teachers at this Belt Line rd location were very kind and nice to my child and patient. It's unfortunate such an unprofessional representation runs the front desk.
