There is something very fishy with the reviews for this site. All the five star reviews are still here but all the negative reviews are hidden, as in, "not recommended." I checked out those reviews and saw that they are having a similar bad experience that I am having. The classes are expensive but I was under the impression that the course was thorough and driving times were flexible. That is, sadly, not the case. Currently, registration for the next week opens at 6:30 pm the Monday before. But, they only have two days available for drive times. Monday and Tuesday. That's it. When we tried to sign up at 6:40 pm, all the slots were already full. Previous reviews also complained about this, all the way back to 2015, so I know it's not just us. But, for some reason, those reviews are not being factored into this school's rating on yelp. If you are thinking about signing up for this school, ask  questions like "what are your class AND driving times availability?" The class schedule and driving schedule are very different. Classes are all week. Driving time, however, is a lot more limited. " ask "how easy/hard it is to get a slot?", "how flexible are the driving times during summer/school days?" I was very pleased with our whole experience at the Clear Lake and the Friendswood locations! Our child attended classes and did drive times in CL and just took her drive test at the main office in FW today. They were so helpful on the phone when we scheduled everything and were great in person! This is a MUCH easier way to go than doing the parent teach and TRYING to get a drive test scheduled through DPS. I highly recommend this school! Read Less

I have an extremely anxious and nervous child. This driving school has gone way beyond what they needed to, to help my son through his driving education. I have nothing but praise for the owner and his staff. Ms. Becky his instructor is an Angel with a heart of gold. Class was fine. Getting a drive time was harder. The key was to wait until the schedule update time was close, say 5 min till 3PM, log on and wait til 3. Used refresh button and kept going till I got my time. You need to have the days and time you need before you try to get them. Once I figured out the system it was easier but still... They need more instructors for drive times, they have enough cars. One of the black ladies was very rude to me on one occasion. I had her 3 times over the course. Read Less

Had a wonderful experience with the Friendswood Driving School!  The local DMV's are all booked for road test and lucky we found out that the driving school had staff that could certify road test.  My daughter was able to take schedule her test in less than a week and she pass!  Than you to all the friendly and courteous staff that answered our all questions and provided us with a great experience overall! The website said they open at 3:00 pm and when I called around 3:30 a very nice young lady answered the phone and answered all of my questions.  She was so good that I signed my daughter up immediately.  I had heard that it would be months before she would be able to get in but she starts next week.
