Just finished the series after 2 days. Very convenient that I could stop the audio and return during or after a chore and an errand. There seem to be glitches in the scoring system b/c some of my answers were not indicated as incorrect and I didn't know until my score at the end of each test. Still passed each test, otherwise I would have called customer service.The 8th video was in their words "quirky" and it was a weird animated feature with talking drivers' licenses.The last video felt like a filler to meet the 6 hour requirement as it had a very long list of illegal and legal drugs and their bad interactions with alcohol.  Even had a short lesson on brain anatomy and how alcohol can mess up your body.Saved several dollars using a Groupon and shave off another several dollars using a Groupon promo code. I've used them twice now (I give a donation to the city's police department by using my lead foot every few years) and enjoy it... Well, as much as you can enjoy defensive driving. I've called their customer service both times and they're very helpful on that end... I'm fairly certain it's one of the guys speaking in the video. But, it's pretty easy to follow and for some reason the format of having multiple people talking makes it a little easier to deal with than just one person teaching a course. Terrible Course material. Why am I taking a quiz after every chapter I would like to just read it page by page and then take a final exam if that had to be the case so I could review the material. Now I might have to pay $30 for another course. and the fact that quiz questions are most of the time not relevant to what I read or heard what was talked about. Never going to use this again. Used the groupon to dismiss a speeding ticket.  Easy to download and good customer service.  I accidently entered a wrong number and was immediately notified to correct it.  Their correspondence is commendable.  The actual course was a bit unorthodox.  The characters played by the presenters was a bit hokey and frankly distracting to my learning, but with that being said, I did pass the tests.  The 2 or 3 videos that were part of the learning, were decent in quality.  Overall I would recommend. No one likes defensive driving, but the surprise of the whole thing was how quickly I was able to get my certificates and the way I was able to complete the course on my laptop and my phone was incredible. I needed to mail my stuff today, and I completed my course yesterday at 3pm, and received my docs by 8:30 this morning. I got a ticket for speeding in Plano Texas (1st ticket ever), and I wasn't sure what company to use since there are so many out there. I looked up state-approved courses on the Texas Website: tdlr.texas.gov/driver/dr…. I went with "WDD" and finished the course in under six hours. I received my certification in 3 days, with a letter directing me on the next steps and what to look out for when mailing or delivering my certificate to the court in person.A word to the wise: There is one video in the course, which is a bit difficult to pass. I believe it's video #4. They have a lot of stats and numbers regarding traffic violations, accidents in Texas and USA. There is a lot to remember for the final 3 questions. What a GREAT experience I had with Wireless Defensive Driving online! YES - I admit, I was forced to have to take it due to a traffic violation, but in the end, I was glad I had this option to A.) dismiss the ticket and B.) get a discount on my insurance. The course was very easy, user friendly and available on my phone. I could log on and off, it was not too boring, and the customer service was unreal! I put off taking the course as long as I could, and this was a pretty painless way to go.  The panel was informal and the dialogue format made it much more pleasant than someone lecturing or reading for the whole time.  The quizzes were reasonable.  I was very pleased to get an email that they had processed my Certificate of Completion the same day I took the last quiz and completed the course.  It is about 5 solid hours of listening , watching videos and taking the quizzes.  I have to admit, I learned quite a bit!  I took this course over 2 days, and it was easy to pick up where I left off, after being away from my computer for periods of time. I would actually rate this a 3.50 but it's not an option =)The dialogue was entertaining but because I am a visual learner, I had to listen to some parts twice. After having failed one of the quizzes, I downloaded the Texas Driver Handbook from dmv.org so I could have some textual reference. It would have been helpful to have at least an outline of each chapter/video to go along with the audio. The videos are outdated or at least it seems b/c the quality is poor. Read Less

I purchased the groupon for this course and I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a few issues registering, and sent an email to customer service. I received a call probably 5 minutes later and they were able to walk me through the steps to get me registered. I also moved during the process of my certification and when I called to update my address it was done so immediately. Great customer service which goes a long way in my opinion! When we purchased the class online it asked for credit card number but assured that our card would not be charged.  We selected a shipping method and the shipping cost showed as $0 (zero).  I got my credit card statement and there was a charge for nearly $40.  I called to question the charge and it was for sending the certificate two day delivery (via fedex, which also was not listed on the shipping method details as the form of two day shipping).  I contacted FedEx and the cost to deliver two days is less than $20!  Not only were we misled about the shipping cost (website order said no charge) but this company charged us more than double the actual cost.I would beware of giving credit card information to this company. I really enjoyed this course, because you could listen to it from your computer or over the speakers in your car while driving place to place. I liked how you can log off and log back on again and the quizzes were simply put as well. (I'm not a test taker and passed!) While it was in radio form it helped be entertaining. Some jokes were cheesy and there were a lot of statistics (none of which you have to remember for the quizzes, just good to knows). The defensive driving course itself wasn't too painful.  There's enough comedy in there to keep you relatively entertained, and as long as you paid some attention, the questions weren't overly difficult.  Having the ability to stream or download the audio and video on my phone was a huge extra convenience.  Absolutely no difficulty using the website, listening to the courses, or taking the tests at the end of each chapter on my computer or my phone.The real reason for my five-star review is the level of service WDD offers.  I honestly can't remember ever receiving such top-notch customer service from any retail or service business.  It really is unparalleled.  As an example, within just a couple hours of me registering for the course, Kyle had emailed me with a tip that the way I had entered the court's name might not be accepted, and that this could potentially cause a headache and even require me to retake the course if the court denied the certificate.  I scanned & emailed the documentation I received from the court to Kyle and he quickly fixed the problem without any further action necessary on my end.  After I successfully completed the course, I had a few follow-up questions regarding shipping and logistics, and each time Kyle was prompt to respond (usually within minutes) and very willing to help.All-in-all, very highly recommended.  I haven't written any Yelp reviews before, and if I use WDD as my standard for doing so, I think it will be a long time before I write another. The course was as painless as defensive driving can be, as far as I'm concerned. I have taken a similar course at a comedy club before, and while it was slightly entertaining, I learned much more and have found myself applying the knowledge from this course. The fact that the videos were available on youtube, made accessing the course quick and easy. If you listen to the chapters, the at the end questions are very simple. I would not advise trying to skip the videos, however, because the questions will be very difficult. If you take it seriously and really try to learn, this course has a lot of information that will help you become a better driver and safer on the roads. Read Less

I was not looking forward to taking this course but it was not bad at all and I had an issue with one of the questions not taking my answer and when I sent an email someone responded back within about 5 min and fixed the issue.. Once you complete the course you get an email right away letting you know that your certificate is on it's way.. An actually enjoyable online defensive driving course.  I was fairly surprised as I have seen how mundane and boring some could be but this one was actually somewhat humorous. Granted it wasn't laugh out loud funny but their light hearted approach to teaching the facts and knowledge made the time pass much faster. It's especially nice that they offer the clips on iTunes, podcast and YouTube. I was easily able to listen and complete the course on the go. The questions weren't terribly hard and there are only four per quiz with 11 sections (one quiz per section). I would take this driving course again and I would recommend them to friends. Read Less
