My husband I just returned from a military tour of duty in Germany. I never got my DL before we married (out of high school). We're at Fort Hood now.
Took the adult course from Virtual Drive of Texas. Course was very simple and easy to follow. Even provided a list of things to bring to the DPS office. Now I can drive without waiting for him to get home from the base.

SPEND YOUR $$$ SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! If I could post without giving any stars, I would.
Choose a company that knows what they are doing. Throughout the process of my daughter getting her permit/license, I had questions (because the process was not clear). Each time I contacted the company, no one was available. They would return my call, but the response was as if I was a bother. I maintained my composure and got the information that I needed, but noted how rude both of the owners were. The last time I attempted to reach them, I was at the DPS office trying to get information. I left a message 3 weeks ago, today (6/26/17), I'm still waiting on a call back.
I would not recommend this company to ANYONE! This experience is the reason I will always check reviews before dealing with a new company. Lesson learned...

We enrolled our daughter in a local driving school, but decided we wanted to teach her the actual driving lessons. Virtual Drive helped us accomplish this. Jana finished the classroom part of the course at the driving school, then Virtual Drive enrolled us in their in-car behind the wheel (parent taught) course. Great company to work with. Kathy and Kevin both were very helpful. Jana turned sixteen last month and now has her drivers license.

ok so my parents signed me up for this course and I just got my permit!!! I'm so excited! my mom forgot to bring the voe form to the dps and we had to go back and get it :-( bring your forms!

ok so my parents signed me up for this course and I just got my permit!!! I'm so excited! my mom forgot to bring the voe form to the dps and we had to go back and get it :-( bring your forms!
so the course is online and I take it after school. that part is pretty easy. we've done three driving lessons so far and it's fun, except mom keeps telling me to slow down. fun course, can't wait till I turn 16 and get my license!

We used Virtual Drive for both of our teens. My wife taught our son, and I taught our daughter. The kids would work on the online course after school. Once they got their beginners permit, we would set aside a few days a week after work, to spend time on the behind the wheel lessons. More than anything, the kids enjoyed being able to take us on quick trips to the store.
Overall it was pretty straight forward and easy. They even show a screen with what documents to take to the DPS. Good course, highly recommended.

My husband I just returned from a military tour of duty in Germany. I never got my DL before we married (out of high school). We're at Fort Hood now.
Took the adult course from Virtual Drive of Texas. Course was very simple and easy to follow. Even provided a list of things to bring to the DPS office. Now I can drive without waiting for him to get home from the base.

Choose a company that knows what they are doing. Throughout the process of my daughter getting her permit/license, I had questions (because the process was not clear). We enrolled our daughter in a local driving school, but decided we wanted to teach her the actual driving lessons. Virtual Drive helped us accomplish this.
