The school itself is good but the instructor my kid had was not. He was sexist and told the kids they were stupid. I would. It recommend the west end location unless you want your child put down etc.

I do not recommend this driving school to anyone. The trainer is good but "manager" is very dishonest, unorganized, disrespectful and will either not answer your call or hand up on you when you try to obtain a refund for her error. They are only interested in money and most of the insurance companies do not accept their certificate for an insurance deduction for teenagers. Read Less

My instructor at Brentwood driver training was phenomenal. His savage beatings ensured that nobody who stepped foot in the west end building would never make any mistakes on the road. The crash preparation module was very eye opening as I watched my life flash right before my eyes. The experience and learning was worth all of the whiplash and following hospital procedures. Mr. Fischer Shaffer was a very kind, considerate, and relatable with all of his drug overdose stories. Whenever I would get bored in class, I would always examine the mass of tattoos on his ripped left bicep. One of my favorite parts was when they said I didn’t have to take my drivers test and then I had to take it anyways. I highly recommend this program (at the west end location) because it is a good, eye opening real life experience where you can be exposed to the wonders of the automobile and a first hand look at a man who did too many drugs as a child. This review is for the Brentwood location, not West End. Their website claims you get 6 hours of training, with 2 of the hours on a simulator instead of actual driving . We used the simulator during the first class only. There is no real driving at all for the first 4 classes and then on the last day you get to drive. But it was around 3 hours not 4, so the website is not accurate. The instructor was okay. Most of the classroom time was spent watching driver training videos. The owner is extremely rude. Because of him I would give the school no stars if it was possible, but I can't save the post without selecting at least one star. They were supposed to order lunch every day (for students who pay $5 for it), but on the 4th day there was no lunch. They let kids leave the school that day and go down the street to Sonic, even though they told us on the previous day that no one was supposed to leave the property. They gave us soda with lunch on the days that they ordered it, but other than that we had nothing to drink all day from 8:30AM to 4:00PM, so I had to bring my own water once I knew that I would get nothing to drink. There are too many students in the class and the room was uncomfortably crowded. If you're thinking about spending the $415 for this class (or $425 for some stupid reason for those of us who enrolled online), save it, look up some drivers ed videos online, and learn it on your own. My daughter had a great time at Driver's Ed with Brentwood Driver Training. She learned a lot and the teacher was also entertaining. She got her license there too. Great course. Highly recommend!
