Former PEAK CDL Instructor 2016. Great facility, but since losing Greg, the school has gone downhill fast. You've got a boss that doesn't even have a CDL, or any experience with/in a truck, and talks as if all students are monkeys, and thinks ANYONE can be taught how to drive a truck. A big headed lead Instructor who brags more then he teaches. On top of that, the priority that some of the female students get from some of the instructors is disrespectful to the others who are trying to take a serious step in making truck driving their career. And for the lead instructor to tell female students that "girls can't drive trucks" is uncalled for. He turned bright red real quick when I called him out on it, and then had my wife show up, who has more miles and years experience then him to cheer a female student on that was about to quit because of his comments. (And YES, she passed) Told the owner about all the sexually harassment situations going on between fellow male instructors and female students, he didn't care. It made my decision to leave for a different school... the school even the owner went to... extremely easy. I'm happily married, so no matter what you look like, or how you try to flaunt yourself to pass class, the only thing that helps you take priority with me is you showing up on time, your willingness to learn, and your obvious determination to succeed. Go ahead and flaunt your body elsewhere, boobs and butts aren't the tools for success when it comes to truck driving. Read Less

The instructors are awesome! The office staff is awesome! I was able to get all of the training, and in my case all the extra training I needed to pass the obtain and now I have my CDL's. everybody was great, but Id like to give a special thanks to Marty, Jeremy, Randy,Matt, Jenna, and Rhonda .You guys rock!! This is a great school. All the trainers and staff are great. Very friendly, treat you like family. The trainers take the extra time to help the ones struggling. I'm a Vet.I went here on a training program because I was unemployed,and homeless. The program paid the school 1500 dollars,and then they turned around and billed me for a additional 3000 dollars. Stay away from this school ,it's just a trucking company trying to rob money from people trying to better themselves. Now they threaten to suspend my license. There are cheaper schools this place has hidden fees and there are other ways of getting a CDL. Study get your permit on your own. Read Less

Amazing so far! Just in the first week I feel like I've learned so much. I passed my test for my permit with flying colors thanks to the instructors there, especially, Gerald. Everyone there works hard to make sure ALL the students are understanding the material. No one gets left behind and if you don't understand something they find a way to break it down until it becomes clear. I'm excited about the rest of the class and I actually look forward to being there. Although it is fun, they do take it extremely serious. They actually care. peak is a top notch school. I tried to get into c.d.l school everywhere with no luck because i couldnt afford the 6000 dollar tuition. But,with one call to Jill Miller i was in and financed in no time. It is a great schoo.l If you want your C.D.L but cant afford it peak is your answer truly, no money down and financed 100%.
