This is a great driving school! We used Lord Ashley with our son 2 years ago and just finished with our daughter today. They both got their licenses on the first try and are very confident drivers. The staff was very friendly, punctual, patient and it was convenient that they picked them up at our house for the lessons. Both of my children took classes with this company in Mount Pleasant. The instructor did an amazing job of teaching them the rules of the road. Plus, they became more confident in their driving. Good reason not to use this company.....as I was driving on Palmetto Parkway I was passed by one of their well marked vehicles going at a very fast pace. The vehicle was traveling so fast I couldn't get any part of the license number. This business promotes responsibility, integrity and confidence.  My impression of A Lord Ashley is no longer positive and my confidence in their ability to teach new drivers responsibility is very much in question. One bad driver doesn't make a company,  however,  one bad driver leaves a very bad impression.  Would I ask them to teach my loved one to drive? No. Read Less
