Lessons with Rose are so worth it! She is an incredible teacher and makes you feel comfortable right away. I came to her a completely inexperienced, nervous driver and by the end of my time with her I could drive anywhere confidently. She takes you step by step through learning the laws and helps you master basic driving skills. She also makes sure you're very comfortable and confident in yourself before your exam. I could not recommend Larues Driving School more highly. Rose is not only extremely familiar and experienced with RI driving regulations and road tests, but she has the people-sense most instructors lack. Rose consistently was patient with me and made me feel comfortable within the first 20 minutes of knowing her, which was very important to me as a new driver. this driving school is terrible. no proper communication. when i contacted to take road test they said that that would cost me $85 and after i booked the slot(within 48 hours, no rescheduling is possible) and told them i booked slot, they replied the cost is $170, i am a student i might reconsider the road test to give after some more practice, if price is one seventy. coming to lessons, though there is limited time could have been much more efficient in telling what i had done wrong. any way there is my bad in today's test. i will not blame about road test. but could have told me before i book my slot about price and could have communicated a lot more efficient without looking at mobile about my mistakes. Me and my wife needed the driver´s license in RI and looked for available driver´s schools in Providence. We then found Larues Driving School and scheduled our appointments with Rosie. I also had a similar experience. My son said the same about dropping off other children and picking them up not leaving much driving time. She took my son out for his sessions and all was fine, until the last class. At this class she said he did not do well and needed more(I will admit he was tired and had awoke from a nap when she picked him up). But I felt that she was trying to get out of taking him for to DMV for his road test. When I originally set up the appointment with her for the road test she looked at her calendar and was hesitant because there was something she had to do, but she said it would work and she could take him. But in the end, it did not work; she would not budge with taking him that day. Very upsetting as this was a big reason I wanted him to go to driving school. My husband ended up taking the day out of work and took him to the road test. He passed. The only positive thing I can say about her is that she took them to the DMV for one session and let them drive around the area so they would be more familiar for the road test---this is her one star. Worst driving school, no one can clear in first attempt with her instructions.she has back and forth appointments and She kills your 2hrs of driving session by picking and dropping of other customers and gives only 20 minutes of real practice for the lessoned instructions. she ditches you. She's a fat lying lady and I do NOT recommend her to anyone. She takes your money and does not do what is promised. Read Less
