Hopefully, after this review, David and Julie will become dependable and act like professionals as they should be in running a business. The last time I spoke to Julie was on July 11th. I remember her telling me, and my son, that if we were able to schedule the road test appointment, just give her a call. It will be their "top priority", just let her know the date and time. After numerous online attempts patiently searching for a road test appointment that night and early in the morning the following day, we finally got a date for the month of August! We thought we were very lucky to be able to have it scheduled earlier because according to Julie, the earliest open schedule for the road test will be in January next year. We immediately called/left messages, and emailed the Independence Driving School to inform/remind them of my son's scheduled exam. My son paid the $130 fee online to use their vehicle for the said appointment. They did not return my calls and email BUT my son was able to talk to David on the phone. He told my son that he got our emails, and that he will be at our house to pick him up an hour early so that he could practice parallel parking before the examination time. We thought, that was nice of him! My son did his driving lessons with them which ended last month but he practice driving every other day to prepare for the road test. Seeing my son get up early to practice driving for hours the day of the scheduled test just to be prepared and patiently waited for David to pick him up at the house, and then not being able to make it to the appointment because nobody from their driving school showed up was a big disappointment. I even called again, left a message to David 2 hours before the scheduled time to remind him. If only the management gave me or my son a call that they couldn't bring him that day, we could have made other plans to make it to his appointment. He is returning to college soon that's why he was hoping that he could get this done before he gets too busy again. One less thing to worry about if he will be able to pass the test that day. By the way, we did actually hear from David four hours after the scheduled test. His reason? He said maybe they did a verbal commitment and didn't write it down, he doesn't know. Thank you Independence Driving School!! I have an anxious teenage daughter that was very hesitant to drive. We signed up for 6 hours of driving with Sonya and what a difference! She was the perfect teacher for our daughter since her professionalism was even topped by her patience and the nurturing heart of a mom. Sonya gave her so many helpful tips regarding what to expect during the driving test. Our daughter aced the test and the examiner said that he can tell which students go through the school because they are so much more qualified. Thank you Sonya and Independence! I just recieved my license thanks to the instruction that i got from Independence Driving School. They are courteous and friendly and very VERY calm and relaxed. They make the most out of every lesson that you have with them. Not only do I feel that i am a better driver, but they teach you how to handle emergency situations and how to keep alert on the road. On the morning of my test i felt confident and ready thanks to my driving school. If you are a new driver or have a child that is a new driver this is the driving school for them! Read Less
