I had Ken Smiley as an instructor, and he truly helped me drive without fear. He is very kind, professional, and makes you feel comfortable. I bought three two-hour lessons and the exam package and it made a huge difference in the path to getting my licence. If you're nervous about driving I highly suggest Bluebell Driving School. This school is a rip-off.  The instructor who worked with my son never actually gave my son any useful instruction.  He basically showed up, picked him up, and collected a paycheck.  I paid for this instructor to take my son to the exam.  AFTER the exam, the instructor told me that he "had been meaning to call me to tell me about some bad driving habits that my son had".  I never once received a phone call from him and he never told my son about any "bad driving habits" in the 8 hours of instruction I paid for.  When I called to ask for the refund, the owner refused to give me a refund.  Don't waste your money here- you're better off teaching your kid yourself and saving yourself hundreds of dollars.  It's very expensive and a complete scam. I had the misfortune of driving behind one of these "driving instructors" in their Blue Bell Driving School cars.  The lady was texting on her phone the ENTIRE way down 676 across the Philadelphia.  Great example she is setting!  She almost wrecked me twice and swerved all over the road while texting.   What a joke this place is. Marcus was my driving instructor for 2 lessons and took me to my drivers test. He was friendly, helpful and always greeted me with a smile. I felt comfortable asking him any questions I may have had. He really focuses on the parallel parking and helps you relax if you're nervous while driving on roads. With that said, I did pass my drivers exam with no mistakes. After the second session, we booked Blue Bell Driving School and Ken to accompany my son to the test. Marcus is a phenomenal driving instructor. Beyond that he's really just a great guy. You're in good hands and the instruction is worth every dollar. For new drivers, even if you have your license, I would highly recommend booking a couple 2 hour road sessions with him. These guys know their business.  Did the package with lessons and scheduling her test.  Best money I have spent in a long time.  The driving test is pretty simple at Huntingdon Valley--but that means that then take points for absurdly minute things---something that regular driving with a parent would not normally be highlighted.  And the fact that it is an instructor vs mom or dad helps the teenage brain accept the info too.  Our instructor --Bob Cunningham--always showed up on time or five minutes early, the coordination of scheduling the lessons was convenient, scheduling the test was great, and most importantly had a great rapport with our kiddo.  Would totally come back again for younger child when the time comes.Our kiddo passed the test on the first try--with a perfect score.  Thank you Bob and thank you Blue Bell Driving School!
