Western Pacific Truck School of Oregon was nothing short of an amazing opportunity that was both a privilege and an honor to attend. I was enrolled in their Advanced Tractor/Trailer Operator Program. The instructors are patient, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. The time you'll spend there is ensuring that you fully understand and are capable of demonstrating the skills you learn. All the instructors at this school come from different walks of life, and are only eager to share that experience with you. I encourage ANYONE who is even REMOTELY interested in a career in trucking and heavy transportation to start that journey here. You will NOT be disappointed. I was able to complete the school and received very high scores on all my tests just by following direction of my instructors. Every day I was allowed to train in the truck, on the yard, and with backing. Instructors were cycled and I received instruction from all of them. Thank you, Ed, Eddie, Doug, Mack, and any others I worked with. We even missed days because of awful weather and these guys came in on their days off to help us out. Thanks again! Read Less

Had a great experience. The instructors were helpful, patient and fun. The equipment is well maintained and comfortable to drive. Remember to make sure there are no cats on the catwalk.

I am a current student at the school. I feel that every instructor has a great point of view. I have learned a ton about driving an 18 wheeler. When I began to research schools to go to Eifel that this was my best option. I drive 114 miles round-trip to come to the school and feel that it is completely worth it! If you are looking for a school that teaches you how to drive safely and effectively this is the school for you! All of the instructors are amazing fun have a great sense of humor and really take the time to teach us properly! Thank you Western Pacific truck school for teaching me the best way to be safe! School is what you put into it.  I found no disrespect or lack of teaching skill.  The teachers all had different styles, some probably worked better than others but I learned something from everyone.  They also had weekend classes which worked great for me.  Thanks to them I now have my CDL and a job I start in a week.  As for the equipment, some is old, some is newer, none is brand spankin new.  Of course if Semi's were cheap, anyone could go out and buy them.  If I had to do it again I would have no qualms about going here.
