I can not say anything about the driving instruction because after numerous attempts to contact them over 5 days they never returned my calls or text. No way to run a business

Extremely rude owner, dysfunctional calender system to sign up for drive times. You have a window of 15 minutes once a week to grab a spot. Fills up so fast you'll be routinely locked out. Would not recommend this school at all. Go elsewhere.

Tom, the owner of BEHIND THE WHEEL of Shaker Heights 216-509-3574, was extremely rude. I scheduled an appointment on line 3 days ago. Today was my sons first driving lesson, which obviously he was looking forward to. No one showed up to our home. When I called to inquire, there was no answer. Later, I received a text from him saying I booked 24hrs in advance which was false. I booked three days prior. I text, asking him to call me explaining the problem. He text back t...hat he doesn't work 24/day. But wait... this is the time my son should be driving so clearly you are open! He later texts that he isn't a pizza delivery man. Just rude all around and he totally refused to answer my calls. I HAVE DEMANDED MY MONEY BACK! NOW CRICKETS I will be calling BBB and my attorney in the morning!!!!! In the meantime I have to wait to get my money back then reschedule with a different company because I refuse to use BEHIND THE WHEEL. If he acts that way with a paying customer am I suppose to trust him with my child? Ideas please? attorneys name? PLEASE ASSIST FB FAMILY! See More

Tom, the owner of BEHIND THE WHEEL of Shaker Heights 216-509-3574, was extremely rude. I scheduled an appointment on line 3 days ago. Today was my sons first driving lesson, which obviously he was looking forward to. No one showed up to our home. When I called to inquire, there was no answer. My son is about half way thru his state required professional driver Ed. and is enjoying the classes. The classes are normally from 6-9 PM and are 3 hours long. I may have preferred 2 hours in lengt...
My son is about half way thru his state required professional driver Ed. and is enjoying the classes. The classes are normally from 6-9 PM and are 3 hours long. I may have preferred 2 hours in length, but the 3 hour length will be fewer classes. My son had a number of friends already take the course who enjoyed it. All the classes are taught by Tom Flynn, the owner. My son comes home after the classes enthusiastic and says that they were interesting and tells me about the things that he's learned each time, so if an instructor can engage a teenager for three hours, more power to him! Not sure that any of the high school teachers can do that!The classes are taught at the Unitarian Church near Shaker Middle School, which is convenient to us and he can bike there in the summer.Their website is quite useful and contains the schedule of classes each month. You can take the classes in any order that you want which is very convenient.

Behind the wheel driving school is phenomenal in the diverse education that is provided to the students. The scenarios provided in class are great for new drivers. Students can walk away from the class armed and ready to drive. The instructors are friendly, professional, and patient with the students. When the on the road driving exercises are started, they come to your home to pick up your child and drop them off safely. Everything is one on one, not like it was when I was in high school and more than one student would be in the vehicle. I give the school 5-stars and a smile to say thank you.

Mr Tom is very professional instructor with wide experience, he gives you short, quick advices and teaching methods that easy to follow and remember.Price is verry affordable and cheaper than other schools I've contacted.he will give you tips and concentrate on your weakness points to improve .I just passed my exam after 4 hours training with him !just understand and follow what he says and you will make it :)I am very thankful to Mr Tom and Behind The Wheel School of Driving, I wish I could make it 100 star!I highly recommend Mr Tom and Behind The Wheel School of Driving, they are the best! also didn't mention the beautiful and nice cars he got for training!, I was learning on Audi TT! it was like a dream for me riding such car!can't stop thanking him, I am very pleased of this man. Thank you again Tom.

I took lessons with Mr. Tom Flynn. I found him to be very irritable, rude, and jumpy. He was making me into an anxious driver. Most of the times I felt too scared and nervous to ask him any questions....
I took lessons with Mr. Tom Flynn. I found him to be very irritable, rude, and jumpy. He was making me into an anxious driver. Most of the times I felt too scared and nervous to ask him any questions. He is honestly the worst teacher/ instructor that I have had in any capacity. I had to change driving schools.

Behind the wheel driving school is phenomenal in the diverse education that is provided to the students. The scenarios provided in class are great for new drivers. I took lessons with Mr. Tom Flynn. I found him to be very irritable, rude, and jumpy. He was making me into an anxious driver. Most of the times I felt too scared and nervous to ask him any questions. He is honestly the worst teacher/ instructor that I have had in any capacity. I had to change driving schools.
