Tom and all of the instructors have lived in our community for decades and care deeply about the kids they teach. It's the best driving school around, so plan ahead and sign up early! Read Less

I absolutely loved Tom's driving school! Its a little bit daunting coming into 24 hours of in-class education, but I quickly changed my mind as I started. Tom doesn't just do the minimum, he goes way beyond any requirements!Unlike lots of other driving schools, he doesn't have us sit around watching gory videos the whole time. He gives lots of real-life examples (he was a firefighter) and most importantly, he gives lots of instruction on all aspects of driving.Going into the class, I thought I new a lot about driving, but by the end, I realized how little I new then! But I certainly know a lot now, coming out of the class!Tom is a truly great guy and totally awesome! I highly recommend him!! Two thumbs up for Tom :) Read Less

Oh, Tom's.  I did my driver's education training at Tom's Superior Driving School back when I was 15.  I turned 15 late in my sophomore year of high-school but I wanted to get driver's ed out of the way that summer. My mom called around and most of the Cincinnati area driving schools wouldn't take students unless they were 15 1/2 and had their temporary permits.  I was only 15 and 3 months at the time.  We then found Tom's, who said I could attend classes all summer and start my "in car" training as soon as I was eligible for my permit. There are a few different options for taking classes at Tom's but I chose to do the twice a week three hour sessions.  The sessions are number 1-8 and you have to take all 8 plus a test but you don't necessarily have to take them in order...I started on class 3 and then worked my way through and back to 1 and 2.Tom's is comparable to other driving schools in the area, cheaper than AAA, though students at AAA get to drive cool mustangs for their in-car training while I was in a crappy Toyota Camry.  Oh, well.  Tom himself taught our classes.  He is a retired police officer and knows his stuff when it comes to driving rules and regulations and he knows how to put the fear of God into his students when it comes to dumb driving (under the influence, speeding, etc.).
