Very please with the experience. Received 2 lessons + Silver Package with Instructor John. He was really friendly, patient, knowledgeable and helpful! Throughout our lessons, John taught me the basics and went thoroughly on what to expect on the road test. In addition, he made sure to pinpoint aspects of my driving I should pay extra attention to while driving. That kind of feedback made it possible for me to succeed in passing the road test. I would definitely recommend taking lessons with Instructor John. Overall, the service provided by South Shore Driving School was exemplary.

I had an excellent experience with South Shore Driving School and their lessons. My instructor John was one of the best instructor you could possibly have as he is patient, respectful, and extremely good at teaching. Not only does he teach well, he also understand your strengths and weaknesses in your driving within just a couple of lessons. Additionally, the school itself will provide you with things such as, setting up the road test and providing a vehicle for you to take the test with.

I had such a wonderful experience with this driving school and I highly recommend it! My instructor, John, was incredibly patient, encouraging, and very flexible with scheduling driving lessons. With each lesson, he explained the different maneuvers step by step, making sure I understood how to do it well. Thanks to his guidance and support, I was very well prepared for my road test, allowing me to pass first try! I highly recommend this driving school, especially John, who made the entire learning process encouraging and effective!

I had a quite good experience with South Shore Driving School and my instructor Owen. Both Phil and Owen were flexible and patient with my semester schedule as a student, and we were able to pick up where we left off even after my fall semester put my lessons on hold. The 5-hour pre-licensing class with Phil was detailed and in depth, and I felt that the 5-lesson package I spent with Owen sufficiently prepared me for the road test.
I only had to opt for a sixth refresher lesson before passing my road test on my first attempt. Owen was very supportive throughout our time together and knew the parameters of the road test well, making a point to cover all our bases during each lesson, including observation, left/right turns, stops, k-turns, and parallel parks. The road test ultimately felt like a compressed version of our lessons, and I was able to move through the motions easily one after the other.
I’d recommend South Shore and Owen to most anyone, thank you both!

I had a really good experience with South Shore Driving School. My instructor John was exceptional! From the start, he was really nice and observant. He lays out everything you need to know and makes it very clear to understand. I was really nervous to take my test but he encouraged and helped me prepare in advance. His guidance helped me pass my test and I am truly grateful. The prices are great, which is hard to find with driving schools around the Staten Island area. Thank you John for your hard work and I encourage new drivers to use South Shore Driving School as well. Thank you again!!

I started taking driving lessons with South Shore Driving School earlier this year. The driving instructor, Owen, who was giving me lessons, was very nice and observant. He instructed me on what I needed to improved. To meet my scheduling needs, the school helped me by scheduling the test with a different instructor named Phil. He was also very nice and supportive. Today I took my road test and I PASSED!!! I am so happy. I highly recommend using this school for lessons and road tests!!!!

Very please with the experience. Received 2 lessons + Silver Package with Instructor John. He was really friendly, patient, knowledgeable and helpful! Throughout our lessons, John taught me the basics and went thoroughly on what to expect on the road test. I had an excellent experience with South Shore Driving School and their lessons. My instructor John was one of the best instructor you could possibly have as he is patient, respectful, and extremely good at teaching. Both Phil and Owen were flexible and patient with my semester schedule as a student, and we were able to pick up where we left off even after my fall semester put my lessons on hold. I had a really good experience with South Shore Driving School. My instructor John was exceptional! From the start, he was really nice and observant. He lays out everything you need to know and makes it very clear to understand. I was really nervous to take my test but he encouraged and helped me prepare in advance. His guidance helped me pass my test and I am truly grateful. The prices are great, which is hard to find with driving schools around the Staten Island area.
