I took lessons with Bill for the past month. Previously I had taken lessons from a driving school in Brooklyn and they had not taught me the proper way of safe driving. I am so glad I was able to work with Bill on driving. (He was a Caucasian male with glasses). At any rate, I had forgotten to bring sneakers. He was all too happy to send us down the street to buy $60 sneakers. We accommodatingly bought the sneakers and returned. My mom then asked if it would be okay if he didn't teach the pivot foot trick for the break. You see, we have a stick-shift car and pivoting doesn't work with those peddles. She merely wanted him to be aware of the type of car we owned. He thought she was saying she was a better driver than he is etc. He threw us out of the place saying he wouldn't teach me. The drivers education courses that the kids take at school just aren't enough.  As parents, driving for 30 years we do things too automatically to teach properly.  The kids need to learn well from someone that is trained to teach them.  There are too many angry and distracted drivers on the road.  It's one thing to pass the road test, being a good and safe driver is completely different. Bill and Yousef are fantastic teachers.  They teach safe and defensive driving.  My twins have already passed their road tests and will be continuing with Bill and Yousef to learn highway driving techniques. My daughter completed a high school drivers education class but was no where near ready to drive on her own. They did not teach her proper driving techniques. We took 4 lessons with Yousef and she learned more from him than she did in the entire drivers Ed course. He fought her skills necessary to not only pass the road test but to become a good driver. He is extremely professional and with his lessons she passed her road test. I would highly recommend this school as well as Yousef. You will not be disappointed. He even gave her a 30 minute lesson prior to her road test and she took the road test in East End Driving school's car. . He helped keep her calm and focused. I had failed my driver's test 3 times before I decided to seek some "professional help". I started practicing with Yousef around my town for a few lessons, and then 2 lessons in Riverhead. Yousef calmed my anxiety right away after the first time driving with him! He makes you feel so comfortable and calm. Today I took my road test, for the 4th time, with the test services East End Driving School offer, and I passes with a perfect score! Neurotic teenagers can pass the road test!My driver's ed course at school didn't teach me how to properly drive, never covering topics such as hand-over-hand, and how to easily parallel park. High school courses only give students a book of the rules, and expect them to memorize it. It's good to know the book, but the driver's ed course I took didn't acknowledge how to apply to them properly. At the East End Driving School, they taught me that, and how to read the road. Additionally, my parents weren't always there to sit in the car, so this Driving School was my only chance to drive. Yousef, the instructor, helped me stay calm and taught me how to approach rotaries and other things that made me nervous.Yesterday, I took my road and passed, even though I was shaking! East End Driving School to me is one of the best schools in the area. Many of my family members have taken lessons with Bill over the years and all successfully passed on their first try. Seeing this I definitely had to take lessons with Bill also! At first I was a bit skeptical as I had never driven a car in my young life but Bill reassured me that with patience, determination  and a bit of practice I would have full mastery of the wheel in no time. Sure enough after the first driving lesson I was already feeling much more confident with my driving! Unlike drivers ed , Bills one on one private session allow you to feel much more relaxed while also simulating the conditions experienced during an actual road test. Rather than tell you what to do or yell at you for doing something incorrectly, Bill guides you step by step on how to do each maneuver while making you feel less stressed out or nervous through small talk and driving jokes, which all came in very handy while trying to learn how to parallel park! Bill definitely creates a comfortable and welcoming environment both in the office and in the car. Aside from the lessons being wonderful, an added bonus is that the prices were very affordable and fair considering the great service you are receiving and within a month of having started the lesson I was able to schedule my road test to which I highly recommend using East End Driving schools road test service as Bill drove me to the test while giving me tips on how to stay relaxed and confident in my driving ability, this way i was able to better focus on the test rather than having stressed out over taking my own vehicle or finding someone to take me, getting there on time, etc. Overall, I was able to pass my test with a perfect score thanks to the amazing help and training i received from Bill! They are VERY unreliable, rude and lack the people skills necessary in working with the public. My daughter had a 10:30 a.m. driving lesson (in addition to her road test) scheduled with East End. At 10:15 a.m. on the morning of her private lesson Bill called me ranting, ""WHERE ARE YOU! I HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE 10:00!"" I told him I was only a block away and that the lesson wasn't until 10:30. He became very belligerent and stated, ""NO! IT IS 10:00! I CANNOT GIVE YOUR DAUGHTER A 10:30 LESSON BECAUSE I HAVE ANOTHER LESSON SCHEDULED FOR 11:00!"" I said, ""Are you kidding? I have the notes from our conversation setting up this lesson and it clearly states 10:30."" And as I was proceeding to tell him that I had to take off from work and was losing a day's pay to get my daughter there, he hung up on me! He did not even try to rectify the situation. Be weery of this company! They are not reliable! I am obviously not using them for my daughter's road test anymore! Bill has now taught two of my kids to drive. Not only did they both pass their tests on the first try, he has also taught them to drive safely and defensively. The first of my two kids to pass the test has now been driving for over a year and he is still as cautious as he was when Bill was teaching him and he credits Bill""s instruction.
